We embarked on this podcast to talk about wine. Living in the heart of the Hill Country, we set out to visit all the wineries and discuss our experiences. As life would have it, the podcast evolved and now includes much more. Every show begins with opening a bottle of wine and then navigates to stories of our marriage, lives, faith and our dog, Phoebe.

Cork Soakers of Vineyard Nation
As Curry & The Keeper gained traction, our loyal and growing audience started offering ideas and the podcast began to form its personality. Of course because the show centered around wine, it was only fitting that our producers (also known as listeners) be called Cork Soakers. This moniker idea came from a C&TK listener and is based off a SNL skit. The podcast is centered around laughter so it’s perfect.
Every C&TK Cork Soaker needs a community and Vineyard Nation is the perfect place. Again, this idea came from a C&TK producer who has generously supported the show with his time, talent and treasure.
Salmon Yays in the Tasting Room
Listen to Episode 40 for the full story on how Salmon Yay came to be. During that episode, Tina struggles with the word “sommelier” and it eventually comes out as Salmon Yay so now that’s what C&TK donors of $500+ are now called. No need for stuffiness.
Once a donor reaches Salmon Yay status, they not only receive two amazing etched Curry & The Keeper wine glasses, but they are also invited to the Tasting Room where they can choose whatever they want served - usually an array of cheese or a libation!
