I mean, she was considering her surgery scheduled. It's going to be in three weeks a little bit later than she had hoped for because she's been incapacitated for since a mom first. First and so she's ready to be done with it. But she's using the pool. Adam Curry: Yeah, I'm like, Hey, there's someone who's that? Oh, wait a minute. I don't want to in the Tina Curry: newsletter. Like I found what was my reference in the newsletter about her she had a picture of Phoebe at the board talk about but but no, I've referenced the newsletter and you said Adam Curry: Oh, right. There was something in the newsletter.

That was an unexpected that was I was outside all day in the pool yesterday or the day before me Adam Curry: such joy to look out there and see you and your daughter in the pool hanging out. Yeah, you got pool noodles. You got all kinds of water beds. And I Tina Curry: promised her I would go out tomorrow to in the pool. So she's working on her tan or base layer. She's like you're gonna have to after surgery, you're gonna have to roll me out there. So I flipped me over so I keep my base up.

3:50 Adam Curry: She'll be with us until September I guess probably at least Yeah. So far. She has been a wonderful house guests. Of course she's she's now 27 So yeah, Tina Curry: hey, what's not to like she's getting free housing free food fee free beverages. There's Adam Curry: a good point had a dog. Although Phoebe didn't like her that when she came Tina Curry: Oh, she napped at her. Well, she barked at her. Adam Curry: Well, she went kind of like aggressive AC because you know Phoebe's it's a big dog and you're like, Hey, how you doing growth? He was like, Who are you? And what are you doing invading my space this way? Tina Curry: Yeah, and she's here to lease and so we're like, let her come to you. Now she's she's used to her now. She's used to her being in the house. So but her bark scares Elise scares me too, because she's got a pretty although when I grabbed her snout, and I'm like, You Adam Curry: be quiet things you can do with that dog. She could stand on her head. She'd be like, Okay, mom. Yes, he's Tina Curry: a dog with a leash. She's not the alpha dog with you and me because she knows us. You know, with the leash. She's like, who are you? You're new. I'm the alpha dog.

Not sure like all Uh, Tina Curry: so So yes, it's been it's been lovely so far, you know, and yeah, she'll have her surgery on the 23rd She really likes the surgeon she liked the she went to see a nurse practitioner at a local doctor's office today. She really liked her to hear them chatting it up, you know, and so I think she's in the best place right for she's in really good hands and and to heal here I think you know, so we're taking care of her. Meanwhile, Adam Curry: our house is falling apart. Tina Curry: I know one thing after another Adam Curry: all of the timers on the sprinklers breaking then like, you Tina Curry: open up the well. Yeah. Holy Adam Curry: crap. Yeah. I opened up the well house because that's where one of these timers is for the, for the sprinklers. And there's a wasp nest in there, these huge red wasps. And they just that there, they were angry at me. So I I'm like, Well, I walk away and then I come back said baby, I need my gun. With that water gun that we need water gun. Yes. My Dawn soap gun. Exactly. The the septic pump was was destroyed by an anthill. Yes. And, you know, so we had had Paul come out here and fixed it. Yeah, He rebuilds the real rebuilds. Yeah, it was about two and a half inches high. anthill just completely covered the whole intake and Oh, ruin it all. And then you know,

6:25 then um, so finally got rid of all the Wasp now I mean, in this after like, three days, because I kept opening up there they were they were going away, I had to get the nest out. And you know, I'm a cowboy, but you know, how come I didn't get someone to do this for me? I'm a princess. I know. And you see what did you say? I didn't hear anything, for instance, and then it kicks on and I see the pump and the pump is leaking now I'm like, Oh, no. And we got finally got someone who can clean the roof because that's just Tina Curry: allowing somebody to tear out or shower. And then hopefully we're done. Yeah, hopefully. Music One thing after another get Adam Curry: the cracks in the floor. Oh.

So I took Tina Curry: that so so in that read the newsletter, she said prayers have been answered. What prayers what? And then I told her we pray Adam Curry: every single night we were at the end of our prayers. dinner Dinner prayer. Yes, you say, and Lord, thank you for helping Phoebe on her weight journey and her weight loss. Tina Curry: Journey. Yes. Our prayers have been answered. She Adam Curry: broke 100 She's down to 97 point. The entire vet office broke out and cheer even double digits in double digits and, and she has she has Peppa understand. You could notice it right? Yeah. Pretty good.

Yeah, so but yeah, I mean, we I was shocked you took her to the vet because you had to what did you have to get her yet to get herself? Oh, no. When we took you took her to get her bave Yes, Adam Curry: yes. Yeah, yeah, the triple shot Tina Curry: so so yeah, so that Yeah. So then we I also mentioned that you know, Fourth of July is not a fun day for Elise. Elise.

Tina Curry: But he said once her drowsiness sets her and put her in an interior room, a bathroom with no windows and a big pillow and blankets where she can burrow into we have multiple of these. And a lot of our dogs love them. So but yeah, well. Adam Curry: We got to take care of her. She Tina Curry: gets for as big as she is. She's the biggest baby when it comes to fire was Adam Curry: not like that. She's not a hunting dog. Yeah, sure.

He hit me in the face you punch me know what was going on? Did Tina Curry: something really terrible? My dream? Adam Curry: doubt that doubt that. I know it was an accident. You punched me right in the face. I Tina Curry: was I was pulling on my blankets. I lost my grip. And it just like squares, you write your nose, and you're wide awake. Because Adam Curry: just because you know, it doesn't happen often someone punches me in the face. And if this isn't happening, and I was like, I also can't go to sleep. It were the other way around. It'd be like you leave. Am I right? Or am I right?

But I guess if we go back to last week, finally after many, many weeks, many months month because it wasn't December. It was December. The 10. In Mumbai, all of us participated in an auction for the Fredericksburg Historical Society. Yes. for that. And so we wound up Gillespie County, right. So we wound up. There's like, three of us were bidding and together we agreed we're gonna pay for it together. And we got to dinner at Club Charles in Kerrville. So it's taken quite a while to coordinate all of this. And a part of this was a limo ride. Yes. In Oh my god. And I appreciate that Brooks bubble bus donated this. Yes, I do. But I mean, this thing was enormous was a 25 person stretch limo, Hummer Pink, pink.

Adam Curry: Notice they had a trash can in the back? Yes. Nasty. Yeah, just the whole idea is nasty. But it was sweet. It was sweet of her. Very generous. Yeah. And it only took us twice as long as usual to get to Courville Yeah, because we had to take slow corners. If you go over a bumpy bottom out, you know? That couldn't even imagine driving. You literally could put 25 people in that. Yes. It was insane. Yes. And he had all the disco lights inside. And it was just six of us. Yeah.

Having cocktails there at their place. Yeah, she didn't have any nuts. I know. She had no, I know you told her. No, she said you know I forgot to put out nuts. I said you know, I didn't want to say anything. But I'm pretty disappointed. You don't have a single nut, not a peanut and another block of cheese, nothing. Nice wine or they have a winery so they have nice wine but you never Tina Curry: walk into like here's the barge He has all this liquor lineup like, Oh, nice. Now she got such a kick out of that because you kept teasing her all night laughter Yeah, Adam Curry: I love her and John, they're such people. You know, he's from Louisiana 14 kids or whatever it is. He speaks Louisiana bayou French. And I speak you know, my friend just like, yeah. So but then we just keep throwing words at each other. And yeah, and he's interesting guy and she's super sweet. Yeah.

And then we got in the in the crappy pink limo. And we drove to Kerviel. Tina Curry: We went to club Charles, which is a membership Members Only members, which is absolutely stunning inside in our friend Dawn. I made arrangements for all of us to be there. And she actually had dinner with us. Yes, her husband lose the chef. And there was eight of us. And it was it was from start to finish. It was fabulous. Fabulous. I mean, we are treated like royalty and had really good wine and I indulged big time, ate the bread and drink the wine. So Adam Curry: what was kind of so it was kind of guy sitting with guys and the girls sat on that side. And so it was three men and five women it was it was me, John six women and and Larry, Now Larry, Larry and Jeanne. Were there Larry. He built this whole subdivision that we're in, and he Yeah, he owns the streets. Yeah, in fact, I thanked him for putting all the wiring underground. We're so happy that all the electricity goes underground. And you know, the one next to the place the block next to next door just saw Yeah, we just sold Yeah. Some lawyer. Oh, apparently from California. I don't know. Movie traffic. They're Tina Curry: gonna build a big house because the house the new house that's built is enormous. On the one all the way at the end, the one by the building right across the street, and

So I can bring worship music to Fred and they got into it today. Like, we could do this. And they're thinking about the water. And can you get city water? And they're, they're really thinking about it. Larry said, I know I know people who will finance it. So they have to donate it or they can they get the money back? I said no. The whole point is it should be commercial venture that should get their money back. Yeah, they were serious. Yeah. I've been praying for this.

Adam curry story, which takes forever it takes forever. Like I had the media roundtable guy. This was this was also this past week. This isn't in an advertising industry podcast. It's very it's a big one within the advertising Tina Curry: industry, which was interesting because you're anti advertising. No, I'm Adam Curry: like, Dude, do you do you think it's Adam Carolla or something? You have the wrong guy? Yeah. And but he also you know, he firstly wants to talk about the debate. Tina Curry: And the fruit reveals the health of the tree, just as the tongue reveals what's happening in the heart. And so I really focused on it. And I thought about it, and was very careful. And then you Adam Curry: don't think I tasted that sour apple. So Tina Curry: I didn't say I screwed up Unknown: this breakfast. Tina Curry: I purposely didn't say anything. And what it came down to is I felt like I said, it's our show. It's not me doing everything. It's our show, we had the conversation like Tina, I prep differently than my do. You know, what how you prep is not the way that I prep. And that was, and I, I equate this to being in God's word every day and knowing the power of the tongue, you know, and and, and how words can really hurt you.

The bit in a horse of a mouth, you can turn the horse or a spark that ignited entire forest on fire. But Tina Curry: I just what I loved most out of this this devotional was at the fruit reveals the health of the fruit reveals the health of the tree just as the tongue reveals what's happening in the harvest. Right? So when you look at a tree and you see these this bountiful fruit, you know, it's just as good. Yeah, good. And then yes, and what's in your heart if it's goodness coming out of your right Adam Curry: now? It's all strawberries. Raspberries.
