And yeah, I had to have him like bleep out some things because, you know, the show that we started 94 episodes ago or 93 episodes is very different than the show that we have now. But I appreciated all the stories just Adam Curry: go straight to it. It was all me cussing. No, Tina Curry: I drove I dropped a couple F bombs, which he bleeped out to those early on. But this is what I want to say. So I looked at the things that he selected, and I had him change out one and we have so many funny bits. Yesterday, I Adam Curry: had my bone graft procedure done, Tina Curry: which was was a potential problem. And so Adam Curry: Oh, man, so I had to go to Maverick you know, it's like, if there was something that would have just I done a check with Mandy, the who cleans it two weeks ago. And then the word was yeah, we're gonna take that bridge off there in the upper left, just take a look and see what's going on. And so it's all fun and games on the map. Mitch Mavericks. were laughing like, hey, he numbs me up, you know, sorry, sorry, sorry, not sorry. He literally said that. When he stuck the needle in I'm sorry, not sorry. Yeah, sorry. Yes. You're not really sorry.

He went, Oh, and then he has this ever happened to you where your dentist or periodontist steps back takes off his mask and says, I gotta be honest. Tina Curry: No, I've always had perfect teeth. Adam Curry: He steps back and says, you know, I gotta be honest. There's some looks like there's a lot of bone loss. The implant may have failed. We may have to remove that implant. Put a new one in remove the canine that's that's next to it. Put an implant there have a temporary ossify bone for two months. I'm like, Oh, are you kidding me now? He's like, I'm just telling you what it could be. But baby steps so I took it off. And then right away. I was like, Oh, I was wrong. It's okay. Now then proceeded to work on me very physically. For about 45 minutes to an hour. It's just like, because he had I'll spare you all the details, but there was some bone grafting and everything. Of course that doesn't hurt. Once he's known me up. It doesn't mean he knows me up so good pain last night, though. Yeah. But I was still numb this morning. Oh, you my upper lip was still no, Tina Curry: you know, I know you were I know, this is rare for you. But I know you were a bit traumatized by that. him stepping back and saying, oh, yeah, because you told me the story three times last night. I don't know if you're aware of it, but I was probably gonna forget and you're standing. I'm sitting on the couch and you're standing up and you're gonna let me tell you the story. I didn't say anything. Like, this is a third time he told me I'm like this guy is traumatized when

Because Adam Curry: it right because I'm so used to and by the way, I'm probably the only guy that you know that goes to the dentist and has a good time. Cuz I'm laughing we're sitting and Katie, his assistant. She didn't know that we are good friends. So he had to say oh, by the way, we're buddies. Oh, yeah, I kind of caught on to that because I'm just cracking jokes. I'm just making I know they love you. They're my mouth. And then once everyone knows and they're all in and out. Oh, hey, Adam. What's up with you? going about trying to pick your kid up? You know? Yeah, can you give me some rice? Because I'd like that for my like, what? And then he said to me here he got here. He's like what? PISA Asia. Let's take a picture on your like, Tina Curry: do you want to see the picture? I Adam Curry: know I should put it a show hard.

And I And then, all of a sudden, we had a breakfast with Mark Hall, our good friend Mark home, which was great. Because he's alive. That's always great. When Mark halls alive. He's going through all kinds of medical stuff, and we're glad to see him and he was in Fredericksburg. And then I come back. I had to do this phone conference. Speaking Tina Curry: of breakfast, though, I couldn't believe that you and him. Were eating a plate full of sugar. You ate a plate full of sugar for breakfast. It was Adam Curry: actually just the amount of sugar. Yes. That's not true. There were strawberries and banana on top of the sugar.

7:34 And whipped cream. No, no, I didn't have any whipped cream and syrup. So I had French toast. Stop this. You need to stop this right away. This is not cool. Tina Curry: I want you to stay alive. Adam Curry: Every single day that you can eggs bacon and eggs bacon and egg. One time we go out I have Oh my gosh. had French toast. Tina Curry: I've turned into one of those people. Yeah, Adam Curry: horrible, horrible person. Yes. Just horrible. Anyway, see? And I'm not laughing because it kind of hurts to laugh. I'm not gonna be laughing tonight at all. That's a little. Especially the big laugh. Really smile. Then I came home was like, I had to some video conference, which I thought was a 12. And that was 11. And then right as I'm looking at my computer, I'm like, oh, because I it was a it was a zoom call and like this, this is my hard drive blew up to the whole studio show computer everything blown up. So I of course I have my Rode gear, which was all set, but this did not help. My day was 250 emails to catch up on so I'm just frazzled. I know you got to drag me through it once again.

You Adam Curry: actually sent me a picture of her like Happy Father's Day dad. Mom's taking care of me. She's doing the minimum but that's okay, I guess. sad looking snout. Tina Curry: Well, in the morning though. I took her for her long walk. I took all the way around the neighborhood. And that was the morning where she didn't listen to me. She went chasing after a car and I almost broke my glasses because I have my glasses in my hand and almost like twisted my finger and I was so mad at her. And I'm looking I'm holding her snout and I'm like you're a bad girl. I'm so mad at you so many. And her eyes were kind of closed. And then she gets in the house and she's like, where's my bone? Like give him a bone. The Adam Curry: funny thing is so You texted me like Phoebe was a bad girl. But I'll tell you about that later. I'm like, went for it for a whole day. I was literally concerned. Like, did she nip at somebody? Oh, Tina Curry: I would have told you that I would have told you.

10:12 I was Adam Curry: like home man. I can does she? Does she do something really bad? I'm like, okay, she drag you around a bit. Yeah. Tina Curry: You know, and so the first night, because I was just kind of looking around the house. Like, it's so empty and kind of creepy, you know, and Adam Curry: you've been here alone. Tina Curry: I know what it was, yes. Kind of creepy for I don't know, just, I'm just not used to it. And so I put her in her bed because she sleeps in the studio, and she's sitting there and I go, do you want to come and sleep with me? And she just lays down. I'm like, Adam Curry: okay, she doesn't understand what you're saying. Tina Curry: And then then I'll talk about the girls night the other night. I'll talk a little bit in the show. But when I had a bunch of of the girls here, and I put her on her place, and she got off a replacement, I put her back on her place, and she was talking back to me. She had her snout up in the air and she Adam Curry: what she did was she stayed in a place Tina Curry: that was barking like that. And her snout was completely pointed up like a husky kind of like a husky. I'm really mad at you. I'm gonna Adam Curry: make it known that I'm mad. How cute. I Tina Curry: know how cute. Child are for baby. Yes. So of course the first night there was a scorpion that I had to kill. Oh, no, Adam Curry: you texted me every single time there was something.

But so I go to bed and I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna take the gun from his side of his nightstand and put it on my side. And I'm gonna get in the bedroom. I lock the door. I get the gun and I'm looking at this gun. And Adam Curry: I'm like, I don't know how this one works. I go. What Tina Curry: is this inscription on the gun that says no, I don't remember us buying this gun. Oh, Adam Curry: no. This is the gun. I Tina Curry: marry me forever or shoot me now. Yeah, you've never seen that. I've never seen it.

12:50 Tina Curry: So yeah. So while you were gone, I was very productive. I painted the screen door. I installed the gutter. I took things to Goodwill. I went to Ace Hardware. I I changed the H vac filters. I vacuumed out the cabinet doors. I mean, I did all the stuff that I'm doing all the stuff. I'm like, I'm an Indiana girl you are I would hire everybody for that. And I didn't do it myself. Adam Curry: And what's so interesting is since I've been back every morning, evening and afternoon, you have an agenda item to discuss. Okay, we got to do this. We got to get the trees down. We got to get the bathroom down. We gotta get this done. Can we just can you get some days? We gotta get on the calendar. We have this Tina Curry: thing calendars.

13:35 Adam Curry: Is it? I've just given into it. Why don't we just have one calendar Cathy's unhappy? I'm the happiest man in the universe. Tina Curry: I'm not gonna change on that. Adam Curry: Correct. Not expecting it either. Yes. Tina Curry: So but yeah, it was funny. It was funny because I thought to myself, Oh, and I had so much energy. I'm like, I would just I this is what this is what Indiana girls do. We just get stuff done. Adam Curry: We get how come? How come you have no pulling weeds to how come you have no energy and when I'm home then Yeah, nothing gets done. Everything's done. Tina Curry: I have nothing left to do. That's amazing. I'm all caught up. caught up with everything. Now we're just waiting for at least to arrive on Saturday and then I'll be busy with that. Here we go. Here we go. It's gonna be fun. Here comes the indoctrination. We Adam Curry: have. We have a new we have a new baby in the house.

I left Friday arrived Saturday late morning and pretty much went straight through to an interview another interview than the no agenda meet up and was wasn't really a my bed until when I must have called you like 130 in the morning. Yeah, my time late.

15:26 And then the next day got up did it was Father's Day did the show and Christina had to work so she couldn't come to see me. And then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, I was with her in Rotterdam, which was fantastic. I did go back and forth because you know, she has a very small apartment. Yes. Tina Curry: I don't think you want to stay there. Adam Curry: I think I'm gonna sleep in my own little robot the hotel. Thanks. It was fantastic. And I appreciate you letting me go. Oh, unshackling me letting me drop all duties for me to Tina Curry: deal with the scorpion. You do? Yeah, actually. Yeah. The Adam Curry: dog and the dog. Yes. See what I do. Tina Curry: I know. Isn't amazing. Look at what I do. What I Adam Curry: what? And then it was the by then it was Thursday show and then I came home Friday night, you know, had time to have lunch with my sister at the at the airport. And then, and then come home. It's just like bomb kind of tired. Because it was a long.

16:26 Tina Curry: It took you a few days to recuperate. Yes. Yeah. Adam Curry: I did have a very quick tip. What I what I liked a lot is I read a lot of my Bible. Yes. I even took it downstairs for breakfast in the morning and just had it there which is written you could see people like Tina Curry: the founders Bible. You're reading Yeah. Which is a big book. It's a Adam Curry: big Bible. Yes. And I also read, tramp for the Lord by Cody Tembo. Yes, Susie Bernard gas, yes, she came over. She said, I have something for you. I read this book, because the Lord put it on her heart to give it to you. And she drove over from this not next door, no door to came. And to bring it. I've read it on the plane. And it actually was it was quite inspirational. It was so thoughtful. And there was there was a newspaper. So we'll have to translate that for your newspaper. We interviewed me. And this guy who's in he's Jesus freak. He's like, Oh, this is so great. And a lot of it was about my faith and our faith journey. And I said, yeah, just reading this book about this woman who is from Harlem, he said, according to him bone. Oh, you noticed? Oh, yes, there is a great book. So somehow, it all made sense. It all connected and a lot of people a lot capital l came up to me, and we're like, oh, thank you for speaking up about the Lord and your faith.

Got it, buddy. Well, yeah, I'm glad that you had a chance to spend some one on one time with Christina. Where she works and Oh, Adam Curry: man. So awesome. She works at One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. They're great. I met her client, but it was just so nice. You know, just like you go to your kids job. And all of her colleagues, many of whom are older than her are just so proud and so happy to have her there. Like, Oh, we love Christina.

19:25 Tina Curry: It was fine. But I went hiking. So Friday you left Friday I was in Austin with a net all day and I didn't do anything Friday night or Saturday went hiking with Shana right. And you know where this is good because I need to I need to start conditioning because the big trip will go into the Smoky Mountains. Adam Curry: The blonde squad plus Trisha Yes, it's on again. And what is this October Tina Curry: October October 10 through the 15th Yeah, so but so we we hiked Enchanted Rock and it Adam Curry: was oh, that's not that's no joke. Enchanted Rock You know, it's Tina Curry: only a five mile hike. It wasn't but I'm just not conditioned. I mean, I'm not here. conditioned at all Shana glistening she's like, like, I'm like I gotta Adam Curry: stop. I had to stop 30 years younger than you small little detail.

And then then on Wednesday, it was the epic girls gambling night and there was eight of us and one little girl April brought her daughter autumn and so we had the best time so everybody brought something I made chicken shish kabobs which I thought were terrible. I hate Why Adam Curry: did you why did you choose chicken shish kebab. You thought it'd be easy? Yeah.

21:12 Tina Curry: But it was so much fun. So we had food man. I think we went through four bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne. And I did not have one glass alcohol. Good Adam Curry: for you. Yeah, drank it. Andreea. No. Tina Curry: Everybody, everybody was enjoying Andreea. So we played left right center. So I told her buddy, bring your 10 singles. Bring your 10 singles. So there was $90 on the table. And so we're going through and of course I lose my money. And people who don't know it left, right center as you have three dice. And you either roll roll, roll an L and R A C or a star. So if you roll n l you got to give $1 to the person on the left if you roll n are to the right. Yeah, we have three dice.

And so you know, then, you know, somebody rolls they I get $1 And then I give a bit I kept giving my dollars to Jeanne who was sitting next to me we're rolling. We're rolling.

So when 91 single dollar bills and so there's throwing the money Adam Curry: like this like making it rain and everything. So competitive, like adds it all up right away, picked up counted and went to bed at night and we just seem to still 90 will make sure it's the right amount of oil. Yeah. Tina Curry: And that was so it was so much fun. So I said to Karen, Karen and I had to Adam Curry: do y'all have your little crowns on? Yeah, my crowns on? Tina Curry: Yeah, was in the news. There wasn't in the newsletter wearing crowns and tan and bills. It was it was everybody wear a crown? Almost everybody there was some people didn't have their crowns but those backup crowns and then they had we had a birthday cake for all the summer birthdays. So it was we had so much I should have added a slumber party to it. Oh, I know. And Phoebe was yelling at me like what is all this new but it was yeah, it was a blast. It was a blast. And you know Andre is always bringing me hostess gifts. I'm like we'd used to sat by me presents items stop by. And then Debbie immediately got up and started doing all the dishes.

23:48 Adam Curry: So love where are they during the week. But Tina Curry: it was so much fun. It was really a lot of fun. I really really enjoyed it. It was long overdue for me to host it. So I'm glad that I had opportunity to do that guy's done this before. Other people's homes. Yes, we have done it now playing a game though. That was a gamble. Yeah. And then so I had the $91 bills. And so Karen and I went out to dinner and I gave the waitress those 94 just paid the payment. I said here, please take that. And I said I'll put the rest of my card. It was fun. It was fun. So I took it with my winnings. I took her out to dinner. So that was fun. It was a blast. It was really a blast. That Adam Curry: lessen the pain of me not being lonely. You miss me. Very nice about me most Tina Curry: sleeping. For sure. Like I like the snuggling up to Adam Curry: you. Okay, I thought just when he's asleep, he's fine.

And the worst is when you're sitting. You know, I had several days I was in the hotel room the whole day. No, no, like, boy to eat after the show. Oh, man, I really miss my after show wine. Oh, well. Oh, well, I'll just have to wait until next show. No, I missed you. Yeah, but I was tired. I didn't sleep more than five or six hours every single Tina Curry: day. That's why you were so beat when you got home.

And as taxpayers, we wanted to go and show our support of how we do not want our tax, our tax dollars buying inappropriate material that's in the middle and high school. So that's why we went and so we walk in and our friend Andrea is there and there's this other woman and our friend, April and Adam comes in and I see him bend down and kiss this. Otherwise, I might kiss her hugger hugger and I'm like, Who is she? And how does she know my husband? So I'm like, so when we got done with a meeting, we talked about the meaning I'm like, Who? Do you know her? You're like, No, I thought she Adam Curry: was like, hey, it was one of those. Hey, hey.

It's like this is you know, his whole point was you know, yeah, I could put this in in the church in a room under lock and key that no going but doesn't make it right. It's just die church. Yeah, it's dumb, is that the whole thing is dumb. Because the kids can actually get to it without parental consent, Tina Curry: but apparently that's not true. It's not. The whole point is, Adam Curry: this is not the issue. People can't communicate, they're stuck. They're there. Everyone's mad about something.

So several people got up and made the comment, like, I don't want my tax dollars paying for this. There's just no, we didn't even discuss it. They didn't even bring it up. They were all Adam Curry: they are fearful of lawsuits and all kinds of nonsense, which is just what we have here is a failure to communicate. Yes, that's exactly what it is. I gotta think about trying to Jack Nicholson, that was going to talk to pastor Jimmy about a lot of thoughts about that clearly, getting up and speaking at the school board meeting is not going to do anything. That's not going to change somewhat Tina Curry: said, I think that if something is said really impactful in an impactful way, I think that it could it could garner attention. I don't I appreciate everything that was said. But I don't think anything like really, like, caught anybody's us. They've Adam Curry: heard it all before.

But anyway, yes, I love sharing that with you. I love that and love that when we share things back and forth to told me to read something in your Oswald book. Yes, my team. Did you read it? I did. So proverbs nine, verse 10, comes up. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is insight. And I'm like, insight. And I'm like, oh, so what I realized, and I shared this with the net to I said, it doesn't matter what a net pastor Jimmy or anybody in church, all it matters is what? audience of one? Yes, that's right. And so through. And so there was a couple things that happened that, you know, I was able to see how much we have transformed. Like you don't a lot of people, you're when you're in it, until you kind of Yes, until you're put in a situation like this. Or like when you go and see your family, and you see it, and you feel it and experience it. And so I'm like, oh, so my wisdom comes from knowing God, my wisdom comes from being in his word, every day, and it's brought humility to me. And it just, it was shocking to me how I was sitting there when I was, and I couldn't sleep. I was having a hard time sleeping because I listened to half the show. And then because I was gonna give Brian my comments, and then I listened to the other half in the morning. And I'm like, that was weighing heavy on me like, oh, my gosh, what is everybody gonna think when they hear this ridiculous, and he had a very, he had a, he had a clip in there that I had him take out. I didn't like it at all. I mean,

39:13 it was funny at the time, but it was us. It's who we were. And it wasn't until I sat down and God presented like, the Holy Spirit was like, no, no, none of those people matter. Of course. I mean, they matter in their own in their own way to me, but really, the only person that manners is God's so that was, you know, that that to me was my obedience, my loyalty, my love for him. But also, I loved seeing how much we've transformed. It's pretty crazy taxi Adam Curry: Eric was, he's like, he started to catch on. He's like, Hey, you're really any of this Jesus stuff, aren't you? And that's the thing that phrase Adam Curry: all the time now she tells me so we are proving Tina Curry: that we are sons and daughters of Christ by the way we live and by our actions because we're living by his word. And I love that I love that I was able to see it so clearly. And how really it was. It was really the enemy who was like, ah, gonna like you know, just to fake you know what all Adam Curry: this tells me is we need to work on Brian.
