It's the one of the few totally affordable restaurants Tina Curry: and it's old school. It's all fancy. schmancy like nouveau? No, not at all. Like stick to your comfort because you want some wine. Yes. What Adam Curry: do you want red or white?

4:38 Tina Curry: And it's like you get like a 10 ounce for Adam Curry: no for nine or $9 like $9 Oh no, it's Tina Curry: very drinkable wine because I found a good one. Adam Curry: So we go and I'm buzzing because I've had one of the gigawatt coffee. You know, I just did the shark. I just did the show and everything. So you know, so we're having a good time. I'm, we're eating, you know, we're joking around with Jason the waiter. Tina Curry: And because he brought you the wrong salad dressing and you were viewer giving him a hard time about it jokingly, yeah. But he was like, really? I'll swap it out really, really? I Adam Curry: will. I said, No, I'll eat it. No problem, but I've never let you live it down. So anyway, good fun. We're eating. And then he comes right near check time. And he said, Actually, he brought me the check. And he says, By the way, keep up the good work on the on the podcast. I'm like, Oh, thank you. I wasn't quite sure. Of course, each podcast he meant, right. And then he says, I've always got my armor of God challenge coin. He pulls out his coin. And I say, Well, how about that? I have mine right Tina Curry: here to the same exact coin exact Adam Curry: same point. And he he was he started a trip out. He was like, I can't believe this. I can't believe this. I can't believe this. It was such an amazing moment. But that means that he he has to be listening to courier.

Well, I had committed to go pick up the glasses and a bunch of stuff from my friend Don's house at a certain I was accommodating her schedule, so I didn't want to change it. Right. And so and then we had that gallery opening on Friday night. So, so yeah, so I went to her little slice of heaven, which she's in. She's in Lando Lando. Right Adam Curry: up the road. And Tina Curry: so she's she's got six horses, I don't know. 100 Sheep 100 Adam Curry: My God and a whole catering outfit. Really Tina Curry: cute dogs, you know, and just so yeah, it was so nice to see her slice it. She loves it. You know, she's grown her own plants in her laundry room. You know, she's, Adam Curry: what kind of plants What do you grow in the laundry room.

10:55 Tina Curry: The baby goats needed to be fed. And so she made their bottles and Andrea and I got to feed Adam Curry: the baby. Oh, that's cool. And the baby goats? Yeah. Are they stinky? Tina Curry: No, it smells like a farmer. You know? She loves it. She loves she loves her life. And they Adam Curry: have people out there if they go somewhere that someone can take care of. Tina Curry: I don't know. That's, Adam Curry: that's a big responsibility. Chickens too. Yeah. Chickens. Yeah. When Tina Curry: she was saying how she came upon an eight foot snake. Okay. And she was like, I turned around. I'll be like, I'm not taking care of that. I think her husband took care of it. I had to shoot him. And she Adam Curry: said there was yeah, there was the chickens. They'll do all kinds of there was a raccoon Tina Curry: in the chicken coop to shoot that. Yeah.

11:40 Adam Curry: Raccoon and this is why I don't want any chicken. Tina Curry: trauma. He will not let me have any chick Adam Curry: because I'll be the one who's to go out there and shoot the snake. Shoot the raccoon. Sounds kind of fun. Oh, no, no, no, I do not know. I do not want to do that. I would love Tina Curry: to have a few chickens. We eat so many eggs around here. But I love my egg lover. Adam Curry: Why don't we drive up to up to Don's house and get some eggs from her. Tina Curry: Anyway, that was kind of cool to be able to see her little slice. I haven't at all she loves a picture of you feeding the goats. And no, no. We're in the trenches, man. Dirt feeding that Adam Curry: was fun. So Don had all kinds of stuff that we needed for the vow renewal. Yeah, yeah. It's, it's hard to say no vow renewal. I want to say Wow, well, I can't help myself. I can't help myself. I know keeps happening to me for the vows and so all kinds of the big tubs to the big tubs.

So yeah, and it was nice to go out there and I'm getting to know Dawn more and I really love Adam Curry: I love Dawn because she always comes into church late. Tina Curry: She's so far she picks up her god daughter, Kylie. It Adam Curry: just is always like she's always like, you know, we're worshiping and she'll come in during the first song she'd be like, bent down like Sorry, sorry. No, this we love you. You're here. Tina Curry: Exactly. But she's Yeah, she's got daughter to this girl, Kylie and she picks her up every Sunday and she takes her to youth group to at the church. Kylie lost her mom about four years ago, five years ago and so dawn, and so Kylie is so blessed to have Don and yes and Donna so blessed to have Kylie it's a wonderful relationship. She's actually hosting like a girls night for her with her friends.

13:32 Adam Curry: But I loved I want Dawn as my god mom to now sleep over with all my friends. My buddies, we're gonna sleep over at Don's house. Tina Curry: So yeah, so I got back and then we we went over to the to the art gallery opening which I gotta get back to her. It's Adam Curry: kind of got Oh, yeah. I got which kind of just slid in there, which we also felt important to support because you know, having an art gallery in Fredericksburg. One temporary art gallery is that's definitely good for the type of voter coming into Fredericksburg. Tina Curry: For our tourism, yes, yeah. And so it was really nice. I mean, we met some new people. I was talking to this one woman and she was telling me that they needed her. She's on for boards, nonprofit boards. I'm like, oh, goodness, gracious, and she was telling me how they need to raise $50,000.

14:27 And so like Adam Curry: an hour from Ronald McDonald House, I can do all this community center. I do all this. Tina Curry: I did. You know, this is me. I mean, it's in my blood. yourself. I'm like, That's really easy. Let me give you this idea. So at the end of the conversation, he goes, Can I call you can Would you come to a meeting? I'm like, oh goodness, I said, I can't take on another thing. I said I really can't I said but I'd be happy to give you ideas but I cannot. You are a busy girl. You're busy. Sorry. Yes, I know. I am I Adam Curry: Okay, are you crying? You get emotional now just looking at me. I Tina Curry: just my heart. No, I am busy. I am I mean, it's crazy. I got a lot I like to do. I mean, so Adam Curry: it was I was a couple people there some new people new to Fredericksburg. And I'm just going around saying, Hey, who's gonna build me a two and a half 1000 seats?

I'm like, you go, you go, Dude, Adam Curry: you know, because a certain point we were there it was Robert and then Scott, from Augusta via and Christi. And you know, and I don't know, also, we're just talking about Jesus. It was really Tina Curry: cool. The men's breakfast. The following morning. You invited him? Yeah, Adam Curry: that was the next thing. I was gonna talk. Yeah. Well, so we got home and then it was Friday. Right now we're kind of tired to think Friday evening. Yeah, we're doing to do have to do something else after that Tina Curry: was here. And that dropped off the dress. So I tried on the dress that she bought and Adam Curry: bought me Yeah. And you want to try the dress? And that turns to me and she says, You better like one of these dresses. Like, okay, she like he's like, I'm gonna cut you she had a knife and everything. Like you. I don't care which one you like, and one of them? Because I had stupidly said that I after you said what don't you like about this one dress? I didn't like the color. Turns out that was the best dress. Thank you.

See you guys whispering and I go what are you talking about? And was it you are heard? And it goes Oh, it's a surprise. And so I didn't get anything I'm gonna giving you somebody said Oh, it's a surprise. I'm thinking. Oh, I'm Adam Curry: gonna get a press. No, that's threatening me. The surprise was that I was getting a prize prize was Adams going to like one of these dresses or he's a dead man. That was the surprise. He's Tina Curry: gonna pull out a ring at the at the vowel by the way. Tina Adam Curry: kept doing this. We'd be in bed. She says to have my present ready? Yeah. We we had already agreed no presents.

Adam Curry: Who sent us? Happy vow renewal cards. Made me a little confused with mother's day now. Yeah. I don't. I'm all over the map. Anyway. It's been a day. Yes. But Tina Curry: no shows. And that came over on Friday and dropped off the dress. Adam Curry: Super, super cool dressed, but I still owe her. No, Tina Curry: I was gonna take it back. But we have to go to the domain to take it back. So it might as well just keep Adam Curry: it I love it. It's like it's like a sexy night guys. Well done, Damon that we're keeping it. I like it.

And so then we, we, we it was like six o'clock. And I said let's go make an appearance. So we just went over there for about an hour. And it was really nice, because we've met a lot of new people. And you really like Robert. Yeah. They're they're lovely, lovely people there. They're new. They're here about a year, maybe year and a half. And they're here to build. Yeah, they're here to build this town up. Sounds cool. We're excited to be in their circle of friends.

18:40 Adam Curry: And there were some other fan favorites there. Of course. Andreea. David Yeah. Yeah, it was good and nice art. Very news. was one artist was a photographer. The other one was the multi. Oh, there were two artists. Yeah, there was two one did the photography oh one did all the other stuff. Yeah, that's cool stuff. It was contemporary, which is just it was nice. Yeah. It's not all like all Western. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Tina Curry: But yeah, so that was fun. And then Saturday, Adam Curry: or Saturday morning. I got up early, because we had the men's breakfast that bridge church, and this is there were 94 men there. A lot of men brought their son master record. It was really I mean, this is one of those things that you really get through a church community but also in a town like this. It's like star hollow. I'm telling you and the men and they were and there were men from outside of Fredericksburg, new to the church. There were cowboys there. There were construction workers. famous baseball player who just moved here with his family. He actually gave us his testimony. Oh, it was really good stuff. And then pastor Jeff sang couple of songs. And Pastor Jimmy did a whole you know, like, we got to be men, you know, his whole men speech. They also had a golf simulator, which I did not participate in because I'm not going to embarrass myself. Not going to do that.

20:07 And the whole I mean, I met a couple of cool cool actually the guy for Al from heb admitted he came Yes, Scott who, from you tell them to come He came and it was just it was great connection. And just for men to be amongst men to something really new for me, you know, this kind of stuff. Cuz typically men with men would be like in a sports setting or a hunting setting, you know, all the stuff that is not really mean. But this is just being men talking about our country and improving our town and, and being being men to our families. And I can tell you a little bit like Pastor Jimmy made us all take, we already do this, but he said, everyone today, you're gonna go home, you're gonna pray with your wife. Ah, that was kind of the thing. Yeah, all the girls are gonna pray with their wife and pray with our children. And it was it was just it was good man. It was. Am I know, an old fogy that I'm this way.

21:04 Okay. And then this young man came up to me. And he says, I'm Parker, Parker. And she just saw your cup of joe rogan cup thing Tina Curry: that attracts a lot of attention. Crazy, fizzy Great. Remember at the car dealership when the guy was like Joe Rogan. Adam Curry: And he has a whole story. And he's been kind of searching and you know, he he decided to come to the men's breakfast, I think is off his dad was there or his brother. But anyway, he came. And you know, he's like, I'm kind of trying to figure this out. You know what I need to do with God? And I said, Give me your phone number. Let's go hook up and we'll have some coffee this week, which I did later, but it was a good connection. Yeah, I felt like Okay, here I am. God's putting someone in front of me who needs some ministering and and I was totally open to it. And I'm excited to see where how I can help him and in his search. Yeah, though. Yeah, sort of very, very cool, dude. Well, and Tina Curry: talk about the crazy thing that happened today. At the vet so we had to Phoebe. TVS got allergies kicked in. Her ears are affected. her paws are like raw.

22:17 Adam Curry: It happens. And we know now she just needs a monoclonal antibody shot. And typically, the doctor even says, you know, these things usually lasts about six weeks. It's been almost three months since the last time so it was time. So I take her in real quick took her out. She She didn't poop on our on our morning walk. But Tina Curry: she came in. She was about a half pound heavier. Adam Curry: You're ruining the punch. As usual. ruining the punchline. I said, I set up the whole freaking joke. I slipped that in. So people would almost see here's how a joke works. You slip something in, that you can then come back to then it will be funny. Now not so fun. The whole payoff of the story. I guess it should just not.

23:05 Unknown: Sorry. I'm sorry. Adam Curry: You do this sometimes I'll do one of my Adam's stories and you'll give the punchline before I'm there. Like, like it's like story about Bon Jovi or Prince I've got a punch line. And I've worked these out in my mind. So I take Phoebe and we put her on the scale. She's 101 member, she'd gone up a little bit. She was 101.4. Right? So she's 101. And, and I say to the girls, but she hasn't pooped yet. So she's 100.5 There's the joke, everybody. Of course, you know, me and the girls there. They're all there on the floor. And I Tina Curry: laugh because when you walk in there like Pheebs Pheebs and Garfield, Adam Curry: of course Pheebs. So I'm waiting for the for the doc to come out with a shot. And I had seen that so it's not really busy. But you know, a woman comes in and she's got a dog with a leg bandage, like ensuite, she hands off the dog.

23:58 And then she comes over to us and he says, Can I pet the dogs, but ears are bothering her. So you know, just let her smell you. And she says, I want introduce myself. I'm Pam, I'm Parker's mom, Tina Curry: the young man that you just Adam Curry: said, What is this? She says yeah, I said, this is a God moment. She says yes, this thank you so much for having coffee with him. And we chatted for a little bit and she knows who you are, because she must have met you. Tina Curry: I believe I said at the table with her at the women's ministry and Adam Curry: super nice and she says thank you this is really great. So yeah, I'm gonna go out for coffee because I had coffee with him to go out for coffee with him and Pastor Jimmy and you know, he he's looking for Jesus, we can probably get some Jesus into this young man's life. So great. But it was just so crazy. To see his mom there at the vet at that time. What am I saying?

24:51 Tina Curry: You you recognize more and more and more of these God moments all the time. When When Faith is the center of your life. You know, typically people like oh what a coincidence? Adam Curry: Like no crazy. There's no coincidence. No, no. Tina Curry: God moment. Yes, indeed. That's really cool man Adam Curry: was fantastic. All right, so back to Saturday. Yes. So did the men's breakfast came back. And then we had our out of towners, Tina Curry: our first one arrived. Peggy Well, of course. Adam Curry: Yes. We had your sister coming in later. So we were kind of tracking her flight then Peggy shows up. Peggy is fantastic. We posted Tina Curry: almost her entire family except her husband and older dog. What Adam Curry: are you guys waiting for? It's a bonanza. Get on.

25:40 Tina Curry: Peggy, I think three times and then Rachel once and Jake once. Adam Curry: And Peggy is one of my favorite people. She is just she's just Tina Curry: she talks about buckets leaking. Oh, my goodness, buckets are overflowing Adam Curry: and she has a way of asking a lot and not being irritating. No, no, but you know, a lot of people that ask questions, you know, I she has a way of she's a great communicator, she has a great way of asking things. You just want to tell everything, just want to explain it all to you know, Tina Curry: and Peggy is one of the well, and this is her profession, too. I mean, she is a professional. Adam Curry: I call her a company therapist, Tina Curry: I guess Yeah, I don't I don't want to describe her inaccurately. But she leaves huge training sessions for pretty high end clients. So she's used to being up in front of a room interacting. And so when she comes in, she's I mean, she's there by herself. No problem. She has no Adam Curry: problems. You can just have a party and invite Peggy and everyone's going to be talked to it's gonna be great.

And she was like, oh, man, I'm really sorry. He really eats a lot. Adam Curry: Pay the fact that he just felt comfortable enough to say got any more food because I'm starving over here. Tina Curry: Right. So Peggy arrived, and then we headed over to Aircel, which was my friend Susie and John, there are our friends. And so we we invited the out of towners to come so we were there and there was about maybe 1820 people Yeah. Well, Adam Curry: first who came in was the era's the blonde squad.

And then we were then Stephanie and Don and Renee Mike, Stephanie Donner from Arizona Renee mica from Florida vacation Adam Curry: they came in for this was just so lovely. Tina Curry: I know that just just my heart, just my heart just this I love Adam Curry: their husbands. I mean, i i Their agenda, no agenda, people and we've, you know, we always joke about our own little text group when you girls go off again in October to go trounce through where you go in this time Smoky Mountain. And then Craig and Sarah and their sons Calvin and Edward came they Adam Curry: drove 17 hours felt Tina Curry: phenomenal and and then Chris and Vic showed up which I you know, I adore Adam Curry: all of a sudden the dark they were there and it was like I knew they were coming but I was surprised like oh, no, Tina Curry: it's like you forget I like I forgot who all was going to come to the winery so to see them was it was so smooth so lovely. Yeah, lovely. Peggy just like she just slipped out.

It was great to have goodness, babe, who else came? I can't I can't I don't want to miss anybody. But I feel like I covered everywhere miss it. We're definitely sure we got everybody there. If we forgot you sorry. It's not like we don't love you. We just been it's been a whirlwind.

And she Adam Curry: got in and see we had already eaten do we Tina Curry: eat or Yeah, I prepared her meal for her when she got here. But it was so funny because we were sitting there and Peggy knows that she does hair so Peggy's like, Tony, what would you do with my hair? And Tony goes, Do you want me to be brutally honest with you?

Adam Curry: So it looked great actually looks really really good. Yeah, Tina Curry: so they're cutting hair at like 10 o'clock at night in the kitchen. So and I think I got to bed at 11. So that was when Adam Curry: I went to bed. You get up an extra half hour early because I knew that. I mean, I was out of control. I had half my prep done everything now I know. Yeah. So I got through. I got up at five and started prepping. And then the rest of the crew woke up and then we went to church. You went to go set stuff up. Right Tina Curry: So Craig, Craig and Sarah and the boys were there.

There was another fantastic service got me all pumped for the show. Love it. Yeah. I hustled back, did the show and you guys went back again to set stuff. Tina Curry: We remember we walked in the door and Tony has Taylor Swift jamming through the house. We're like she's a witch. Adam Curry: She's like, well, she goes from Wicked. does talk about some witch stuff. Yeah, that's right. And Tina Curry: songs sound the same. One there also. Yeah.

32:33 Anyway, but Tony was working hard. She was doing a little centrepieces. So then we all went to go pick up the cake and drop the stuff off at the church that dropped you know, and I that was the thing that I was so flustered about was because there were all these little details that needed to be done. And we got to the church after the third service after everybody was gone, and we just unloaded the car, you know, had the glasses on the wedding ceremony. Adam Curry: Because you had a massive shark who'd reboard Tina Curry: with the wedding cake in the center. Adam Curry: I mean, it looks amazing. I have to say. I love my love my salami all curled up. Well, that looks like roses.

Tina Curry: So it was she Adam Curry: did a lovely job. who recruited David Andreea to do the pouring of the net. Tina Curry: So we get to the church on Sunday morning and nuts. Like, who's gonna wash the glasses? Who's gonna pour the champagne? I got a net. She is my sister from another mother. I'm not kidding you. We are so much alike. It's It's uncanny. How are my organizational part? Yeah, because I because I thought, oh, I'll just find out by find somebody to open the champagne. She was already on it. So she recruited, recruited David.

34:05 Adam Curry: It's so seriously, they were so sweet that those two they were just pouring for everybody. They were taking care of every was like, I don't know if they had any time to have fun. It was just they were just Tina Curry: I think they did. Yeah, I mean, I know. Andreea did. I don't know what David he might not have left the station. Adam Curry: He was like, I'm here. I'm checking the ice. I'm making sure it's all good. I mean, for the international arms dealer to be doing that was just grateful. So grateful to that community, people, everyone walks of life, and they get right down in the trenches with us. Beautiful. It is Tina Curry: so true. So yeah, so we get there early. So everything's at the at the church. So you and I, we get there early, and Peggy and Tony are there still getting ready.

So I wanted to get into the room because you know so we had to talk we talked to pastor Jimmy about the cue on when we have to walk in and everything and and then I'm like, can you go pray with us? So we went in the prayer room and Jimmy pastor Jimmy prayed over us which is with Adam Curry: with with Daymond out yeah, that by itself was just fantastic. No. So Tina Curry: then we went back in the room and we were marveling at the it took that woman two and a half hours to do what's her name? Her name is Diana the name of the the shark who shark coterie business businesses fig and meadow fig and meadow and I highly recommend them and even Don who has been in hospitality and restaurants. She was like, That is phenomenal. She did a phenomenal job.

And the thing that struck me about you, but I was like, Whoa, look, there's Texas limb. I fully well knew who we'd invite. It was almost like the day before. Their surgeon. He's sitting there like, oh, there's brandy. And there's Chris. And like I had the other side.

Tina Curry: It was gosh, it was it was it was such a holy moment for us. And people Adam Curry: had traveled from Texas slim, he drove round trip. 1000 miles, my gosh, let's go. I'm gonna go for a ride duel. Still Still Still. I mean, I was just so fantastic. And then we walk up on the podium. And and it was it was a moment you know, and everyone's like, getting ready. And Tina Curry: of course, the comedian of course. Y'all look really lovely. He said Beautiful, Adam Curry: beautiful. Yes. Everyone just kind of like oh, okay, that everyone can exhale. Now. This is supposed to be a cool, cool moment. Yes. Pastor Jeff starts us off with a song called Holy mackerel, holy with just him in the guitar. I mean, it's beautiful. The background is changing. There were pictures of us.

And then, Pastor Jimmy just goes into this beautiful, beautiful monologue about us and a monologue.

And yeah, Elaine, how old fashioned covenants they would literally cut an animal you'd walk through the blood, because that's a promise so deep that if you break that promise, then you'll bleed. I mean, yes, it was more eloquent the way he put it, obviously. But it was really meaningful. It was just so beautiful. And he put a personal touch on it. It was it was just fantastic. It was loved so much. It was Tina Curry: exactly and we pray I want it to be we went over and had communion. So I had Adam Curry: Jimmy, Jimmy, Tina Curry: I bought a little role to the church and we were drinking we were drinking. Og salmon, a Michael Anastasios.

And everybody that was that came to share that with us I felt have lifted us up. Yes. You know, and it's just an i, so many people came up to me and said that it just truly affected them. And that they were they were brought to tears including my sister, Tony, who was very tearful. And I was saying to net today said when I worship music, that's when I was first minister to true worship music. And I think that's what's happening to Tony too. I think the worship music touched her heart so much.

And then then Jimmy pronounced us husband and wife. No, Tina Curry: but he said, No. That kicked. Keep the lid Adam Curry: down. Yeah, he's ruined. He threw in a perfect job. Perfect. Right. Tina Curry: It was absolutely great. Yeah. Adam Curry: And then, you know, it was short, short and sweet was like a half hour perfectly. Right? Yes. And then we all went in, and we and then it was just that's when just when Tina Curry: you were walking out and we were saying hello to everybody. You were. I was I was to the left. And you are to the right, because I was saying hi to people. We eventually got back to Texas. But what I did say to you, I said there were only three repeats from our original wedding at this ceremony. It was Shana mark, and oh my gosh, you're more call Mark called shade up. And oh my gosh, who's the third person?

42:31 Adam Curry: Ah, oh, I don't know. Oh, my gosh, I can't remember myself. Because Jean was supposed to neither Tony. Tony, because Jean was supposed to be there. So he couldn't be there. Yeah. to UK. And everyone there was just so meaningful. All the people who were there was old friends, new friends, church, Tina Curry: people who have lifted us up and really had been there for us. And you know, to do it again next year. Well, you know, I said, I'm gonna be a wedding planner. Now. I can plan your your vow renewal for you. I said, you know, Adam, yes. Between the two of us. We have experienced eighth wedding. Adam Curry: And then you said, Where's my gift? Again, she threw it at me again, eight weddings. But I've been a bride.

43:14 So the reception, the reception area was just great. And Jimmy did a Toastmaster, Jimmy did a toast. I found Tina Curry: out that a net went up to him and said can you make a toast? Perfect? Yes. And then I said, Should we ask pastor Jimmy and you said now Let's not ask him? No. I said enough. Adam Curry: That's exactly how I said it to him. I think I said all right. Well, whatever. I knew someone would do it. And of course it was him. Beautiful. And then I stood up and thanked everybody. Tina Curry: And then Tony Benn Tony said something. And it Adam Curry: was just great. And you know, we everyone we wait until everybody was gone. Basically we got some. Despite saying no gifts, we did get some very beautiful. And yes, Craig and Craig Tina Curry: Vick, they broke the rules. Big time. So did Craig and Sarah but Adam Curry: well, Craig and Sarah they bought this beautiful handcrafted curry in the keeper. What do we call it?

44:09 Tina Curry: It's it's it's a carved wood plaque. Adam Curry: I would say this is Korean Nikita was carved a new garden last. Yeah. And has the artist's name on the back is beautiful. And they're boys there. The whole family is cool. They really are. Yeah. And we had and he had his camera and Tony had her camera. And so we have lots of beautiful pictures. We have video multi camera shoot, by the way, which is nice to have. Thank you for that for us. Yes. And then we went home and then we we ate cake and we laughed with Peggy and Tony. We were just just yucking it up having a good time just just enjoying it. You went to bed late. Tina Curry: Yeah, it was and you were up early. So that was that was fun. Yeah, but what I loved. I mean everything was was lovely. I love that my sister was here to experience this with us. But I loved that we were ministering to her and her own way. Yeah, I got her to install the YouVersion. Yes. And I know she was talking to you about faith and we had a lovely conversation on the way to the airport and I just, it meant a lot. She was She is Peggy nailed it. She said you have such a generous spirit. And she does. Oh, she made the flower. She took the picture. She did my hair. She, you know, she she helped out with everything. She said one of the she thinks that was Stephanie she's not sure came up to her and noticed her paper airplane tattoo. And she said, I know you're Tina sister.

Last night Phoebe was barking, you know, she had little ear infection.

It's like, oh, you're just gonna zap up to Dallas, five hour drive. So I call over to Casey at the flight school. So you got an instructor and a plane for me. And they came through and so we're gonna leave this morning at 10 So we met over at the airport Tina Curry: and realized that it was a 22 year old young lady that was the Adam Curry: instructor. I don't know she was 22. But it's like, like, Tina Curry: like, the other guys and forget what their needs Adam Curry: were. Yeah, but who was the Amy it's like it like literally the same size. She had a booster seat Did she has a booster seat? She's so tiny. But you know, professionals. She's been trained by United Airlines at the flight school. And of

50:08 course, she only be there for a year because they all they all go on after year, they all go on to, you know, fly the big planes. So she came in, and you know, there's a lot going on in Dallas. So we needed to get our inch instrument IFR clearance. So that means air traffic control will control you all the way there. And they delayed us and they delayed us. And so I got this, this sucks, okay. And then what we'll do is we'll take off, and we'll go VFR, without you know, just under the clouds, and we'll find a hole in the clouds to go up above. This was fun for me, Tina Curry: and then we'll call for our class would not have been fun for me. Well, Jimmy Adam Curry: was listening in and he loved it. You know, he was like, Oh, this is fun. He was watching everything from the backseat. And so we get our clearance to go up to 9000 feet.

50:56 And then all of a sudden, there's like, Warning, warning, BBB manifold pressure and like, and, and Abby says, you know, I know this, this light, it has some issues. It's like, it's probably a sensor thing. But then it just, it wouldn't go off. And so we're looking at we're like, oh, no, no, but you know, the engines, fine. Everything else is fine. But you know, it's like, this is probably a we're already like 20 minutes underway, we had maybe 45 minutes to go less than that. And, and so we make the decision. Now we got to go back. So this is the fun part. So she says, you know, we she calls ATC, we have a manifold pressure, warning light. We're gonna we need to be vectored back to to Gillespie airport.

51:41 And this, this is the part that was the best, like, are you declaring an emergency? Like, no, no, we're not declaring an emergency yet. But we're. So we got to actually say yet. No, no, no, we're not declaring emergency. But it was one of those things where, you know, it's like, it's more than just the engine light on your car going on. You know, I was like, Peter slide back and forth and horns going off. And like now this is not good. Like Tina Curry: a met, I would have been freaking out. And you wouldn't have known. I mean, because I don't listen, Adam Curry: I don't you would not have known you. We just would have said now we gotta go back. Yeah. And, and the weather was fine. Actually, we were both the clouds was nice and sunny.

52:24 So we go back, and I land the plane with a little with a little bounce. So this is what we call arriving in the business. And so she immediately had been on on the on the phone and they said we can send a backup plane. And so we we park and we go in. And then we look at the weather and for Dallas. I'm like, bro, we're not going Dallas was and they were canceling commercial flights. And it was just it was a mess. So luckily, he would he would not have been called even if he had made it. Yeah. And I was able to do three other calls that I had cancelled because of this. And these were kind of what God Tina Curry: did. Most God didn't want you to go God had another plan.

53:09 Adam Curry: Another plan, because like he knew we didn't have to be there. Yeah, because you all go back. But it was too bad. It was the way that it was kind of exciting, though. Tina Curry: And that made it sound on their podcast was that Jimmy was terrified. He was Adam Curry: cool as a cucumber. I look back. He's smiling. He said, Oh, well. I guess that's not the plan that we're going today. Tina Curry: And that didn't tell me this morning that he there was somebody I don't know if somebody was sick or this is years ago. I think when they were in Abilene and they meet. They want to pastor Jimmy to go and see him or he's been on some bad plane. Yes, she goes and so the guy's like, Look, I'll fly you and she goes, Tina, this plane was Adam Curry: Ricky it was leaking gas under inflate under one wing. Now he's been on Tina Curry: really really? So he will probably wasn't terrified Adam Curry: us like this. This is like a Corvette man. Thank you. Exactly. It's like I did the whole thing. Now Jimmy, here's the part that Tina doesn't like if we're both incapacitated Blue Button, red button red handle shoot comes I said in Tina Curry: the text and he goes and lots of praying Adam Curry: I put it I said if we're both incapacitated don't pray hit the blue button red button pull the red handle then start praying. Did he put that in the text message?

Adam Curry: I hadn't landed him quite a while. It's been weeks. It's been weeks. You want to do it right. You know, I was like, Oh, I got a little bounce there. Yeah. And so I was I was harder on myself. Yeah. Well, Tina Curry: and the good thing, you didn't make it up there, because you probably wouldn't have been able to make it back down because of the weather. Right. I don't know, Adam Curry: if we had made our original window, it would have been perfect. But I mean, coming back, no. would have been fine.

Tina Curry: Exactly. So speaking of that, Adam Curry: yes, you're on cue on TV is God. This is the highlight of the show everybody. Everybody loves Tina's God. Tina Curry: Thank you. Thank you very much. Okay. This is interesting, because we were actually in bed in the morning woke up, and I was struggling about a friendship, a long, long term friendship that I have. And I think I might have talked about it and another god shop. And I was struggling with it. And I was, and I and I was struggling, why this friend, nothing has ever happened between us other than life, you know, and I was struggling with why she had become so distant and I wasn't really sure what was going on. And so I do this daily devotional with Karen. And the reading for that day was First Samuel, chapter two, verse 21. And it's about Hannah and Hannah was barren. And she, she prayed, prayed to God, for a child, and he finally granted her a child. And it's, there's a whole long story in in First Samuel, but it's a great story.
