They're light gray. So Adam Curry: you don't even see color. And you know, so I don't see the blemishes unless I get close. I'm like, Oh, wow, that's pretty bad. Yeah. And then as we've been looking around, you're like, Yeah, I'd really like to do something. And then of course you come up with like, shall I paint that wall? A different color? I'm like, No, you didn't say no Tina Curry: to me a lot lately. I kind of like it. You see You always say yesterday.

13:23 And then we notice that we have some water damage on the ceiling, which is right underneath our. So we have a guest suite upstairs. We have only one floor and it's one floor up. That's good. Yeah. Right up the bathroom window. Exactly. Yeah. Adam Curry: And so you know, if guests are up there taking a shower, something must because it's like this is underneath the shower. I know it. I know it. I know it. Tina Curry: Well, Mike crawled it. Adam Curry: Mike, who is the former cop from Kerrville with anger management issues. So Mike has been doing contracting work and when he when he shows up? He's fantastic. Oh, yeah. He has time management. He's just Tina Curry: so busy. And he overextended. Well, these guys are hustling. Yeah, they gotta Adam Curry: hustle. And you know, it's all it's all freelance work. And he brings in Aaron, who actually turns out had painted some of the house when it was built.

And so Aaron's like, and I met him before before he came to I met him because you know, what happens is all of a sudden this is like it's like Oh, it's on I'm like, oh, okay, well, they're coming they're gonna do it and and then we've been talking about this for my no and then all sudden you just pull the trigger? So, this morning, I walk out now you were up earlier than I was, which is fine. Yes. And you were up at like six your teammates. I was up by like, five. Right? And so and I woke up around 725. So I go out and then usual time.

And then after Aaron came in, and because she needed to sniff everything right. And then I said, Okay, break, you're off. And then she was calm. They were vacuuming they were banging. And she's just like lay in there wasn't affected. I started protecting them by barking at something outside. Well, they were the only ones in the room. So proud of this dog. Very, very, very good.

Oh, I love he and he's just telling me if you don't want me to point these things out, and you're like, No, I love it. Show me the blemishes. Show me all the Tina Curry: scratches. Our ceilings must be 18 to 20 more than 20 feet tall in the and I'm looking up and there's all these repairs. I got. I didn't even notice those. He goes Oh, yeah, he goes a one up there. I see them. I've got I have to fix them. Yeah, here's the thing. They're doing all these repairs, then they're gonna sand it. And we're gonna have little dust everywhere. But oh, yeah. Yeah. So Adam Curry: he's a believer, which is really nice. I came I already kind of knew it. But I came back from Tina Curry: what was I doing walking the dog or something?

We're like, come to bridge. Come to bridge. We got room for you. Adam Curry: Up front. Yeah. Be careful. My arms get floppy in the face with my Tina Curry: baby. Here we go. So yeah, so this is going to take about seven to 10 days because they're doing everything but your studio. And they're not doing nothing nice laundry.

We have mold on under the tile, we can see it this house is five and a half years old and I don't know. So we got to rip the whole thing out. Then we got to do Adam Curry: with theirs. They're like, Oh, we do this in a day is what they Tina Curry: can get Nathan in here to move the glass. Am I gonna put in the glass? Yeah, this mic and then we've got into the polish and repair the cement floors that we have. Yeah, it's gonna be huge. That'll be next year. Yeah. And then we have to talk point the chimney and then point. Tech point. Yeah, and the Adam Curry: thing is that we have furniture which has moved several times and the couch is still hanging in there. But the bed that's gonna have that thing is that thing is on?

Adam Curry: Yes, this is this is quite endearing. What has happened here, you Tina Curry: know, I, I've, I looked at the count. And if the people that I think are going to come are going to come which I think they are, we're at about 6061 people, which is almost reasonable as big as wedding with 65 people I think and the thing is, Adam Curry: is like people do realize that we're just doing this to to renew our vows before God right. All in the this all made clear. Right? Right. People find this important and the people who do is heartwarming, oh, Tina Curry: i My heart. My heart is so full by all of this. And I had I had Go ahead.

And I said this is one of the things that has been so wonderful about being Jesus free. A believer and but having a church communities like I've never witnessed this in my life before. How many? How many? Just nice people. It's really America. This is what America I always thought America was what I think they had drifted away from. That's what and these are just I mean, these these are people like if you if you didn't know that from church, you you just have a written Yeah, they're not like weird. These are very normal, very lovely. I mean, people like really normal lives and jobs. But we're we all belong to a community and wow, do we come together around Texas Slim is coming from Amarillo. I Tina Curry: know. I just love that. To your point that people find it important to be there. Vicki and Chris are coming from and and Stephanie and her husband are coming from Arizona and Renee and Mark Mike are coming from Florida. I'm just overwhelmed. Yeah, but I had breakfast with no MERS. Oh, yes.

So um, so I had breakfast with Naomi. But before that I was talking to Julie about and everybody knows I, we've talked about Julie multiple times. And Julie said to me, she said Remember, you only have an audience of one. Yeah. And I love that. She told me that when I got baptized to and I love that. And so when I was talking to Naomi, and I said, you know, this is kind of coming together. And I go what's so interesting is, you know, I started thinking like, Oh, should I order flowers for the church like up on you know, where the are we're going to be renewing our vows and then I hear God saying no, and Adam curry.

And she said, you know Adam Curry: if I can just remind everybody when we got married, sir Jean, our friend who you know, has credentials was supposed to do the online credentials. Oh, no, of course I have I mean, I could have, I can marry us. I'm a minister of the Universal Life Church. But we thought that would be cool to have him because we weren't in our faith journey at all. And so then we got one 800 Find an officiant.com. And it was a dog walker. And he and he, which he did perfectly fine. It was great. But hadn't God was no is not there. No, at least not consciously invited by right. Okay. Right. And so that's why that's why we're doing Tina Curry: this because we want it to be in the presence of God.

25:30 So, so as I was talking to Naomi, and I was telling her all this, and I was telling her how, you know, I hear God saying, No, that's not what it's about. It's not about the fanfare and the decorations. And she said, you know, it'd be really, she said, because you want it to be a holy event, you know, and not be distracted by stuff like that. And I said, Yeah, exactly. So the void of all that makes it all that much more holier. And then she said, You know, it's kind of it's, it's really a baptism of your marriage. When I loved that, you know, because you out, you know, out with the old into the new, you know, it's you're just, you're, you have a rebirth of our marriage. And even though we've been experiencing that, it's like, we're sealing it. Yes, you know, with God right there. And the last thing I said is that, because so many people have followed our journey, you know, since listening to the show, and our friends and, you know, and how our faith is so important in our marriage, and it's it's the center of our marriage, the most important thing how I really don't want people to pull out their phones and take pictures. No, I watched Adam Curry: one turn them off. Yes. I want to just ringers off, turn them off.

I mean, just Adam Curry: Impressive. Impressive. really Tina Curry: energetic and Adam Curry: well, she's 30 Come on. 30 Tina Curry: times people just stand there and sing. They don't move around when she was jumping around with her with her breath section. You know, whatever, all that debauchery that? Yes, it was. And a lot of Adam Curry: the Daigo stuff is Poppy. It's real stuff. Yeah.

And it was Sarah Durst, who I did name check on the interview, who heard about talking about on the show, and it sent me a sent us that book, and she Tina Curry: sent me a long message on Instagram about how she didn't believe in Christ and how that helped bring her right. And people were, were emailing him like, this is great. And they were coming to Christ and they were reigniting their faith, you know, right. I'm like, that's so cool. That's so cool. Tina Curry: God wanted you to do that. He wanted you to bring to site but to go disciple to people. And that's what you did.

47:07 You didn't even know you're doing. Adam Curry: No, I had no idea. No, I never thought about that part. I'm just like, I'm just gonna gotta tell Joe. And he asked all kinds of questions. And we talked about, you know, our faith journey. And he also asked about you and I, of course, I plugged curry in the keeper. Good job. Karina. Keeper. Currently keeper. Yeah. And honestly, I can't even remember, but we even exchanged cell phone numbers after after the interview. Tina Curry: Oh, he texted me. Yeah. Well, he didn't want it to know your testimony, of course, testimony, Adam Curry: and then just, you know, general background, and he had questions how I, as a new as a new believer, how have experienced how people respond. And so that's why I was saying one of those things is like, you said, what are the what, what real differences? And I say, Well, what's so amazing is the connection you have with people with believers, were praying before a meal, you know, in restaurants, anywhere, anywhere, we are the community that, that that comes together for each other. And, as I said earlier, this is feels really like what America what I envisioned America always to be. And now I understand the missing element. And like, you know, we probably have a lot less mental disorder in this country if people had this kind of connection. And he's like, amen. If people had

48:38 this kind of connection with each other, yeah. And I say no, because our church is filled with, you know, very interesting people from all walks of life. But, man, when when we come together as a community, no matter what's going on, it's really, really cool. Really beautiful. And then he said, he had question like, so you know, how it was kind of like, you know, do you talk about your face, other people do? Or you discipling to others? And, you know, how do you do that? And I say, Well, I find the thing that, you know, I know from experience that, you know, if someone's like, hey, you know, do you believe in Jesus, you know, is it that doesn't work?

49:22 That's that right? That's not a good way. Right? And all my friends who were believers, of course, you know, Dave and Moe and slim, they never they never pushed anything on me. But if I asked they would always answer it whatever depth I want it to go. I said, but the thing that I've really noticed that that that no one pushes back on but does sometimes open up conversation. If you say, do you mind if I just pray over us before we have this meal? No one pushes back on that ever. Everyone's always like, okay, you know, fine, yeah, even likes, you know, my elbow. He's like, like, you know, this doesn't surprise me that this is you But no one will ever push back. Oh, because they respected?

50:03 Tina Curry: Me. No. Oh, no, it'd Adam Curry: be harder. So what would you do if somebody Tina Curry: said no? Wow. Adam Curry: I don't think I can't even imagine. But I mean, Tina Curry: I mean, seriously, what if, Adam Curry: Oh, what'd I say? Well, I Tina Curry: would do I would pray by myself. Adam Curry: I'm just gonna pray. Yeah, I will pray for you. But I'll just pray. I would have to pray. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But but the thing is that, that's the beauty of it. No one ever says no, no one ever and I remember as you know, as a non believer that people would say, do you mind if I just said no, go ahead. You're also E? Because you're like, oh, okay, go ahead.

So I say because, you know, I still we do have a job to go out and disciples, all the nations that is, and we are commissioned to do that. And then he said, Do you have any questions for me? And I said, Yeah. What other books should I read by you? And, and it was not just a carpenter. And then something came up to me. I said, and this is just general for, for everybody. I said, when you think about Jesus, but how do you envision him? And I said, and I'll tell you right now, he said, I can't help but thinking kind of about Jonathan Ruby, from the shows. And he cracks up he said, that's a really interesting question that I've never really thought about that way. So I guess there's kind of that Jim could be useful from Passion of the Christ. But he says, you know, it's, I don't really think of it that way. Of course, he's been he's been a believer all his life from his childhood with his dad. But he thought it was really an interesting question.

51:47 He was going to do some more thought about. Tina Curry: I purposely, I told you earlier, I purposely do not think of Jonathan Romi. I don't want to because he's not Jesus. And so I know, he portrays Jesus. But I purposely purposely don't well, he sure he said Adam Curry: that. He said, it'd be very interesting. He says in season five, or six or seven, or whatever the chosen when we finally get to the crucifixion, right, because it won't be before. He said, there'll be interesting see how people respond to that because you actually will be murdering a character, you know, people Tina Curry: are prone to loss. Yeah, that'd be very interesting. Adam Curry: Yeah. But for me, it's only it's only because also talked a lot about a beautiful outlaw. So, for me, I always envision that Jesus, I don't know if I said it exactly this way. But who was humorous and when and what, you know, mess around with his buddies, basically, as disciples like, hey, guys catch any fish today? Empty nuts, boys, you know, that that to me is a dude. Even though he's morning king. He was son of man and Son of God, the Son of Man part had a lot of humor going on? Yes, yeah. Anyway, so Tina Curry: I'm excited to hear the meeting interview. Like if Adam Curry: there's any of you have any questions, anything, feel free to call them and I also did say, we are so blessed.

53:47 Tina Curry: Now she's she's provided me a lot of good guidance. So she's my go to Adam Curry: how do you have a shot to guide you to God? Tina Curry: Okay, gotcha. Gotcha. So, I've been wrestling with something a little bit late lately. Yes, I have. You know, we all have people in our lives who don't quite do what we want them to do, you know, or want or, you know, what we want them to say, and I have a very long time friend, we're talking 4045 years, 45 years. And I was invited to an event for her daughter, and I was going to go, and I was going to go and I texted her and said, you know, hey, I'm thinking about going because I haven't seen her in five years, this friend of mine, and I was basically told not to come I got I got the invitation to go but I was basically told not to come because it was too hectic of a time and at I'm wrestling with that, because it, it, it hurt hurts me. And I know that she's got a lot going on.

55:06 And I was talking to my daughter, Ellen about it today. And I said, you know, what would have made it different for me is if she would have said, Oh my gosh, I would really love to see you, I miss you so much a crazy time and not be able to spend time with you. So I've been wrestling. And I've been praying about it. I've been praying a lot about like, I need to let go this fleshly behavior and just love her as a, as a daughter of Christ. You know, and just, you know, it's not about me and my feelings, but you know, just just give her grace. And so I was praying about it this morning, and you know, me, it's like, Okay, I'm gonna open my Bible. I've been reading Isaiah, I'm almost done through Isaiah, Adam Curry: one verses, like 6060 chapters.

55:50 Tina Curry: I'm in chapter 40. But then I was like, Okay, I need to where, where else? Do you want me to go? So God led me to Philippians. And so a fan favorite, because I've been fighting with this fleshly behavior, and I'm like, how am I going to react to her when she contacts me? Well, I'm going to be aloof, you know, I'm just going to, you know, which I know is not, not through to the spirit. It's not Christ. Like I know that and I'm, I'm so I'm praying about him, like God, please just get to help him with this. So he leads me to Philippians chapter two, verse 14, which says, do everything without grumbling or arguing so that you may become blameless and pure children of God, with fault in a wiped and crooked generation? And so without grumbling is that Greek word?

56:42 Yes. And so, I wonder if I got that wrong. I wonder if I take that wrong. But it reminded me, this is where it brought me. Am I shining brightly? Or am I clouded by complaining? And I'm complaining to myself, I'm not shining brightly. I'm not leaking my buckets. So um, and I know we all face that, you know, when some sure and it gets you down. And so I, I can't let this things like this snuff out my light, because then it just affects my whole perspective and demeanor and my attitude towards her. So that's my, that's what I've been working on. Adam Curry: I was thinking, was this pastor Jimmy's Devo today, or is it something else I pulled up? Hold on? Because something really relatable to that? Hold on? Let me check. No, maybe it wasn't yesterday. Hold on.
