I vote is like, Hey, look at me. Did you vote? Yes. Yeah. It's crazy. How many now just don't even know. Tina Curry: And they'll sit there and they'll complain about everything, but yet they don't participate in not allowed to complain Adam Curry: if you know, I agree. And of course, no one we voted for one. And now, but there's a sheriff run off.

I mean, what is your impression of this? Because it's really about him. Going through the whole, being a struggling actor for 20 years, then getting getting this job?

37:39 And then, I mean, it's one thing to be like MTV guy. You know, it's like, oh, there's a guy from MTV. Now, people Tina Curry: actually think that he's gonna hit him as Jesus. They see him as Jesus. Yeah. And Adam Curry: they just they fall apart and they start confessing things to him. Yeah, it's really, you don't think about that? Yeah. But man, Tina Curry: and that puts a huge weight on him. And he and he, he talked about one experience where he met somebody, and they wasn't like a guy made some sort of snarky comment about meeting people. Do you remember that? And I think it was in the last episode. He said he never wanted to be that way. So anybody who comes up to me always wants to because he had had that experience. Yeah, he says he never wanted to be that way. And so he's very generous when people come up to him and which is tiring, I mean, that and that it just it. It showed how much his notoriety just increased world hundredfold worldwide, yes. And to have this on him, you know, as playing the Messiah, and people thinking that he's the Messiah. And I mean, that's Adam Curry: a huge weight. But even though they know he's not, it's just seeing he releases all of Tina Curry: this, because it's the connection. Yeah, he's telling the stories. And so it's really good. I would highly recommend, well, we highly recommend the chosen for one.

And you see the human side of him, you know, with the struggles that he hasn't, he was tired, and he had to go from one thing to another to another. And Adam Curry: did they crowdfund because this? And three eggs, additional eggs.

And then of course he sent some receipt pieces which I said thank you saw Adam Curry: those and I will be eating those next to the next to the water. Do you have water cooker? 45:24 Adam Curry: Whenever you whenever I think of Joseph, and you just said that the dream I always think of Donny Osmond, I can. Oh, I Tina Curry: know. I know. Right. Hey, I saw him when I used to work out at East Bank club in Chicago. Adam Curry: He's these little Hey, I raced against him. Oh, you Oh, that's right. Tina Curry: You did Denver and look at our lives crime. He Adam Curry: beat me. Oh, he did. He beat everybody. Wow, beat the guys from white lion. He was a celebrity race. He he Tina Curry: was gonna marry him when I was young. I Adam Curry: wanted to marry him. He was out on the track at night walking the track looking at the apex is oh, he's a very serious guy. Wow. Nice Guy, though. Nice. Yeah. Remember, was that tiny? Yeah, he Tina Curry: did it. He spent club he was not. He was not all right. But he was working out because he was doing the play it just the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Chicago. So, anyway, okay. So Bible study, we are reading about Joseph. And we're now at the part about how Joseph advise the Pharaoh about he interpreted the dreams, you know, and he advised them him to store the grain during the abundant years, okay. And because he knew that there knew what was coming, he knew what was coming. And he did that. Because because he had, because the wisdom that he had was because Joseph had surrendered to the Spirit of God, he surrendered to the Spirit of God, like he had it in him. And so as I was reading about, now Adam Curry: you're doing this with with the ladies and Bible study. And this is your weakness.

46:53 Tina Curry: tomorrow's lesson, we're lesson we're going to talk about this. So the one thing that I learned, and this is what happened to me is, we all have the Spirit of God in us. And that's our most valuable treasure in our store houses, and our meaningful offering to others. And all our store houses are different, you know, so they look different. They could be a kind word, they could be going and playing chess with Willie, they could be ministering to somebody, or they could be giving a generous gift. And so I learned about that. And I so something has been happening over the last week or so I've been getting these nudges from God to help somebody to help somebody. I had heard about it a while ago, and then it came up again. And I and I, it was on my heart. And then of course, I opened my Bible, you know, it's the roulette of the Bible. What am I going to read in the wheels? The wheel of the Bible verse? Yes. And of course, I turned to Luke. Okay, so, Luke, which which one? Luke, chapter six, verse 30, which is Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you do not demand it back. And so I was like, Okay, God, okay, I got you. I got it. i Okay. Okay. And so I called this person and I told this person how I was going to help help her. And she was, she was surprised. She started crying. And I got off the phone.

48:17 And I did, the thing I did not think about at all was, oh, look, I did good. The thing I thought of first and foremost was how obedient I was. God. And how, yes, and how I rejoiced in that, like, I Okay, it took me three nudges, you know? And that's, that's the thing I want to say is that were you hear that, you know, when you get that nudge, like, pay attention to it and be obedient to what God wants you to do. And that's what I learned through that. And I loved that. I honored him that way. Good. Yeah. I love that I told I told pastor Jimmy and Annette that story at dinner tonight. So I know it's not new for you. Adam Curry: But no, I love it. I love hearing it.

48:59 Tina Curry: But I love how that story of Joseph and having, you know, having the the store houses and we all have our own store houses. And it's because of the Spirit of God. You know, we have the Spirit of God in us and how it all kind of fit together. And I love that that God presented it that way to me. Well, you know, let me just say one other thing. So when I was talking to her, I said to I said to her, I said, God has been putting this on my heart. He's been putting this on my heart to do this for you. And that was my way subtly of posturing gesturing. Yeah, yes. Like, I'm not going to evangelize. But it was my way of ministering to her. So I love that. Yeah. And they're cool. Yeah. And you were so supportive too. And I appreciate that. Oh, Adam Curry: of course. Yeah. Right away. Yeah. What keeps popping up for me is as God loves you, you need to love everybody else.

49:55 Tina Curry: Yeah, and if God can give God can forgive us. We can forgive anybody easily. Yeah, Adam Curry: and And, and also, you don't control anything. No, Tina Curry: I don't want to, Adam Curry: I don't want to I just I just say, God, just keep just keep me on the center line, you just put me where I need to be point me in the direction and I'm off to the races Tina Curry: to change my mindset to where before I had to just control because if I controlled everything I kept myself safe. And now I don't want to control it Adam Curry: your eyes control. I don't know you're so right though. Wow, that's big for you. It's huge. I used to be like, Okay, it's 7:45am Here's what's happening today, well expands. I Tina Curry: think going through this health issue has really humbled me and has really God's been working on my sanctification with that, for sure, hands down, hands down.

50:53 But also want to talk real briefly. If you have not listened to pastor Jimmy sermon on Sunday, please, he is on fire. And I really want you I encourage everybody to go and listen to and he was talking about instead of store houses he was talking about strongholds, anything that has a stronghold and I can I completely identify that with my body dysmorphia. How that has been a stronghold for me for most of my life. And he said it's their lies, their lies that bind us and really the truth sets of sets us free. And you know, a lot of it's generational scars and it becomes a filter in which we judge everything and I for the longest time lived through that filter and as I've been more devout in honoring God and Jesus that stronghold is weakening is definitely weakening, don't you think? So?

51:51 Adam Curry: I already love being with you and being married to you. But since since this whole Jesus God thing. It's gotten even better. I didn't think it was fine now. Tina Curry: Fantastic. You know, and I want to say, Oh, I Adam Curry: hope everybody gets to meet. I mean, it's so Tina Curry: transformative for us. Even Adam Curry: Even if if we have you know, everyone falters and fails if we have respect I have misfires we're able to say to each other stop Yeah, this is the enemy Yes, this is the enemy let's just stop for a second right because this we recognize it hold on a sec. What's happening here? The enemy Tina Curry: this thing with the stronghold. What was interesting is that I'm in this Facebook group for this.

We are born in Christ's likeness. When when that when I feel that coming on the self loathing the self deprecation, which hasn't happened in a long time. I turned my eyes to Jesus. And she was like, Thank you. Thank you. And I love that I was able to even minister that way a little bit that way, girl, it's all good. I'm gonna fire Adam Curry: that's what this this podcast is your church. That's what that is. So Tina Curry: but no, the reason I tell these stories is because I want it to stop too. I want people to stop and they can find themselves in my story, you know, and I never, Adam Curry: ever thought a I would live in Texas. I never ever, ever thought that I would be a Jesus freak believer in God, Tina Curry: and then our best friends and be a pastor. Hello.

That made me so happy because it smelled like nothing else in the world. Just that the heat and the smell. The tar to me was so America and I knew that the Radio Shack was right there from my wires and CB radios that smell and I still, to this day, I'll be at HEB.
