I'm trying to figure out what the heck is going on with my thyroid? And I had my consult with the American doctor who's in Italy. Are you looking for a jingle? Yeah, I'm Adam Curry: looking. I'm looking for music. It's actually positives. I know. I know, put Tina Curry: me on a very strict protocol. It's a basically an elimination diet because I'm severely inflamed. So she's trying to get the inflammation down. And the best way to do that is you just take pretty much every Adam Curry: everything out, including your husband, get him out, get him out of the bedroom and go go go go by.

3:03 Tina Curry: No, I would not have agreed to that. So for the next, what three days are my four days and three days, your fourth? or fourth day? So I started on Sunday at 10 more days to go. Yes. And I am doing strict beef. Animal fat and butter. And that's it. Yes. And it's not. It's it's it's a lot of calories. Not too much. But it's not a lot of volume. So I Adam Curry: eat you already have results right away. I'm Tina Curry: already starting to feel better still sleeping. Adam Curry: I'm sleeping. I'm not sleeping anymore. But you're sleeping. Yes. Tina Curry: And so that's why I said there's no joy. There's no joy and I was but I'm finding joy in all the other little things. But um, no, I've had some success. So one indication of your thyroid being way off is your body temperature. My body temperature is very low demand even Adam Curry: hypothyroid Oh, of course. I never hear any men with thyroid issues Tina Curry: with women. I don't know why. I don't know. I have no idea. Yeah, Adam Curry: because I wouldn't even know I don't think I've met a single man any any at any point your thyroid issues.

4:13 Tina Curry: So I've had to do some really kind of wacky things like I had to paint some iodine on my inside inside of my wrist to see how much how quickly my body absorbed it and absorbed it really fast. Which means suck the right means I'm very deficient. I had to take your temperature with the glass thermometer last thermometer. Yes. And so I'm the winner is my temperature which is quite low. It's like 97.2 I know you were really cold. I know, cold warm up. And no but my temperature went up two tenths of a degree which I'm really happy so that means it's something is working. So it's working. So I only have 10 more days. But it's not easy. It is not easy.

4:55 Adam Curry: But it's prayers answered darling. Yeah, prayers Tina Curry: to decaf coffee. With no cream Adam Curry: first day of your decaf coffee was a rough one. Tina Curry: It was a rough one. Yes, I haven't. You know what I prepped myself though, because I was drinking half Caf half decaf for about a month, month, maybe two months. So it wasn't too rough. Sunday was a little bit rough. But I got through it today last night, a great night's sleep. And yeah, so though there's no joy, because of not having any wine or bread or sugar, but there is joy in so many. Adam Curry: What do you think is really what is the difference? Because you've done so much in the past four months? It's been it's been about four months since the start. Yes, yeah. What do you think is different? What is what is what is making the difference with this particular product? I Tina Curry: don't know. I think it's probably the amount of fat that I'm eating. Yeah. So, and I really liked this doctor a lot.

5:51 She understands. And I, you know, I truly believe that I'm going through this for a reason so that I could help other women. I truly believe I'm so knowledgeable about so many things, and how important it is to get hormones regulated in your body. And you have to advocate, you have to advocate for yourself. So, and I had another it was interesting, because there's a woman on Instagram, and she Adam Curry: just one only one that I know. Tina Curry: Her name is Sarah. And she was she had contacted me and she knows brandy too, and contacted me because she got her her. Her labs back on her cholesterol was really high. And they were sending her to a cardiologist. And I promptly sent her all of the info about how cholesterol high cholesterol is not tied to heart disease. And there's I know so much now.

6:43 So but one thing I did learn last night was this woman that I met who was a holistic chiropractor, and she told me that a lot of the thyroid medicine had gluten has gluten in it. And that's the one why do they put Adam Curry: gluten into anything? I Tina Curry: don't know. But that's, Adam Curry: I mean, why would I understand? Tina Curry: Why would they put that in them? You need to get off of that too. If you have hypothyroidism and for them to put gluten in the pill. It keeps you it keeps keeps you sick. So I wanted to know, like how can how can I get the thyroid tested to see what's in it? Like there's got to be a lab somewhere where I can send it off to see what's in it. So wow, Dr. Tina, I'm telling you that's why that's why God has me gone through all of this. So but I made my tallow bars, which is the Adam Curry: spacer. So the beef is basically grease and then you you you just kind of mold it into a bar and then you throw it in the fridge and Tina Curry: freezer. Yeah, he's off of it. And it's a high fat you have not offered me a taste of this. I have to salt it up like crazy. I think about the fact I'm eating. I'm eating frozen fat. It's kind of gross.

7:58 Adam Curry: Anything only salt. Tina Curry: Yeah. So anyway, so that's, that's why I alluded to no joy. But there's a lot of other things that are joyful. Adam Curry: And I'm believe me. I know. My wife had her back for a couple days. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Although you had a little rough rough spot here and there but not like it was that smile was back. You're laughing. You're not downcast me Tina Curry: know what so you want to talk about last night real quick. Or you know, Adam Curry: whatever you want. Tina Curry: Last night, we went to a birthday party for the Surgeon General not just a birthday. Adam Curry: Birthday. It was it was it was a surprise party, which wasn't a surprise, Tina Curry: because we walk in and he's right there. Oh, surprise. This is the Surgeon General and your campaign, your future campaign manager. Her husband, the surgeon general birthday. So we were invited Adam Curry: who of course is quite the quite the entity here in Frederick. Everybody knows everybody. We went around the table. And everyone's talking about how they knew knew him.

I think people fall and you know, hurt themselves and no, yeah, no, they're not old. Adam Curry: I'm like, oh, like, David. I'm the only guy you haven't touched in this at this whole parties. Yeah, don't worry. Tina Curry: Mr. Logan was there because she's a really good friend of theirs and she actually remembered who you were. Because you Unknown: know, I remember I remember I was really surprised that but Adam Curry: and then she almost she proceeded to almost choked to death. Oh, Tina Curry: good thing we had a doctor. Doctor Adam Curry: was there he was right there once again, camaraderie.

But It took a while for the food to come out and I was hungry and I'm operating like very little volume these days. I'm Adam Curry: like keeping aside on you know, she's kind of Thank you Okay, all right. Do you want me to go like, gets Tina Curry: ready to eat the line everybody's Adam Curry: drinking. Everybody's like Tina Curry: I'm like water. And so so the food finally comes out. Well it started with the antipasto salad right down to pastas. No big wedge, clear like you're to the left and to the right. People are just chowing down on the salad.

10:36 Adam Curry: The people there it was really interesting. We had so you had your holistic chiropractor we had Laura and her husband Joe. Joe was like, military ex military guy. We had David you know, the surgeon general we have his wife not even like campaign manager like to say future campaign. Yeah, we got we had Larry and Jeanne. Real estate mogul, Larry. Yes, we have the international arms dealer David, with the suit with the with the one star Michelin star chef Andreea. We had Tina Curry: Todd who was the Bob the what was his name? Do we have a name for Tom? Simmons? What was his name? The exercise guy. What was his first name? I don't know what he was Richard Simmons. And when he was younger, remember when he brought Adam Curry: us right. Okay, Todd. Sorry, man. I was not I did. I wouldn't have brought that sparkle Meister his wife Sparkle, my sir. And then we had, of course the cyber man, which is highly pregnant wife. Yes. Yeah. It was just in the end, which is fat, just glowing, glowing. She's got like three weeks left. Three weeks now. Did I miss anybody? It was quite the crowd. Yes. He was another real estate guy who actually what is a certified helicopter flight? Instructor. Yeah. And inspector as well. So you can you can do tests? Yes. So this was an

Yeah, Tina Curry: it was so so they bring out the the wedge Sal and I'm just sitting there sipping my toe, but you go and then they bring out the antipasto salad, which had I don't know what it had on it. Bunch of B balls and lasagna. Adam Curry: No, it was like mushrooms. And there was lasagna there too. It was good. I had some of those mushrooms. That was kind Tina Curry: of you. So you keep turning me you're like, are you okay? Are you okay? Okay. I'm like, I'm okay. I'm good. I'm okay. So then they bring out the platters of meat and I'm like, Okay, now we're talking. But before that they bring out all the sides and I'm just passing them along. Pass along the carrots Yeah. Brussel sprouts sprouts. I'm just and I'm just it was good, man. It Adam Curry: was some good stuff. You Tina Curry: know, and I just, I was I was so proud of my discipline.

I was just waiting for the meet. I was waiting for that. And finally they brought the beautiful tomahawks out. Tina, where's the beef? Where's the beef? Oh my beef. Where's the beef? And so finally I'm just shooting Tomahawk platters out and David the Surgeon General goes to give me your plate because he knows him on this protocol. And so I've been I immediately say, Adam, me my Buddha. I Adam Curry: brought my books I had in my pocket. Yes indeed. I had this right I had your butter, Tina Curry: slathered my butter on it and the chiropractor next to me, she was like, oh, yeah, I know what you're doing. I like you.

13:50 Adam Curry: What was really beautiful about this though, and we I think we knew pretty much everybody from church. Tina Curry: Oh, yeah. We knew most churches. And we Adam Curry: were you know, we were praying together we we were reciting you know different pieces of Scripture. David did his favorite from James in and there was just a lot of Holy Spirit talk and lifting each other up and it was really quite exceptional. Yeah. never witnessed anything like that. Yeah, Tina Curry: we've never been involved in anything like that. It was pretty special. Grace before No, they want you to Yeah, cuz now you're the proud David Adam Curry: always wants me to. He's like, Yeah, he like Yeah.

14:38 Okay, of course, your birthday. Tina Curry: I'm working with. I'm working with Debbie and Annette and a couple other women from the church on the next women's luncheon at the church. And I had to leave the meeting early because this was when we were heading to Dallas and I had to come home and pack so I got the notes today and I they had me down to do the closing prayer. No I'm not shy. I'm very shy. Adam Curry: I'm really starting to dig it. Oh, I Tina Curry: know. I know. And you know, spark that Debbie Lydon Spark, Adam Curry: Debbie, Peggy. She sparked it. And you know, and you were like, I want to do that. I've had lots of examples, but it really comes from the heart it comes from from gives you the words, whenever I need him. Whenever I need the word it Tina Curry: was that was a really nice night, but yeah. Oh man. I was sweating it though, because I was so hungry.

15:30 Adam Curry: Now. In other health news. Yes. Phoebe is down to 104.3 pounds. We are so proud of our little girl. Tina Curry: She's almost in the double digits. She Adam Curry: is so Unknown: joyful celebration. Yeah, I Adam Curry: had to go get her. Her allergy shot was Lady part problem. Okay, yes. That's a good show. Problems. Okay. I shall write that on my remarkable tool. Tina Curry: Oh, yes, I teach that. But anyway, we'll get to that in a minute. Adam Curry: So I went I went to see Dr. O'Neill. We have a real vet here. He was like, Yeah, I just had a draft cow calf had to deliver last night. We had to wait all night because you got to catch it. Like, Tina Curry: you got to catch the calf. Why is the cow standing up?

Like I had no idea what the thing was, he was really he was the end of the day on Friday. He was dead tired. He comes in. He sits down next to me. Like I said, Hey, Doc, how you doing? Good. I'm always chatting with him. has been that has been the end of a long week because that always fit me in like, Oh, no problem. And and I was throw right on the scale. And the girls are always like, Oh, we're so happy for you, Phoebe. Tina Curry: She was like, I'm hungry, man. I'm hungry. Give me some food.

Made our beautiful journals for us came to Fredericksburg to celebrate her 40th birthday with her husband Ben and they really experienced it. There.

We went walking Saturday afternoon. That's right. I did a podcast. Yes. Yes. And we went walking and we Nice time. I mean, I only had a limited amount of time because I had to head over turnouts, but um, we walked and talked and then we get back to her Kubal, Airbnb, you know, close to downtown and I go, Can I use your bathroom? She goes, yeah.

She didn't say how old he was. But he Adam Curry: was so nice. Is he or she's just kind of getting started. He he grew up in a in a Christian household, I think, yeah.

You go Tina Curry: and you pray for one of her friends? Yeah. Who actually introduced her to no agenda? is right. Yeah. I know. We had. I mean, there was no shortage of conversation. I love that. It's a balanced conversation and not just one sided. You know, I really, really like that. And she's just absolutely a doll. She's a doll. Yeah. And her Adam Curry: husband is cool. Yeah. Tina Curry: He's like, Yeah, I play bass in the wash on the worship.

Oh, it was really packed for our church was overflowing. Tina Curry: But before we get that, it was she she really enjoyed the sermon from Pastor Jimmy to really really enjoyed it. And Ben really enjoyed the the music. Adam Curry: She mentioned anything about my wingspan because I was trying not to hit her on the head. Tina Curry: No, but she just said she did really well Adam Curry: because my arms go up. Tina Curry: You're like, it's like, like, the football gold.

Face masking, pushing, holding whatever. Yeah, that was the referee standards of flag on the play on the play. Yes. But I'm just going with the flow, whatever, whatever grabs you I can't believe how into it. I am. Oh, I know. I mean, I, I I mean, I'm not conscious self conscious anymore. But I can only imagine if my daughter saw me who has not seen me in church. He would like do. Do Are you and it was really no different than holding up your cell phone for a Britney Spears concert. You know what, Britney Spears just throw it out there.

But Tina Curry: I wanted to tell you so Ashley sent me a note and I wanted to read part of the know the show and I asked her if I could and this was really sweet. She said you and Adam share a quality and I was thinking about it yesterday you're both so seriously present the way you talk to each other. But also how you both engage with Ben and I made me feel very special being around you too. And being with Ben and Fred getting outside of our bubble has been a blessing. It's not often that I get to see the kind of affection between two people I see the love you and Adam have for each other and remember that I have that too.

Tina Curry: I did yesterday. I said we're taking them. I revised it. Although I can't drink so I guess I'll be drinking more. Well, that's alright. That's alright. You'll be drinking for me. Yes, I order. I'll order my free glass and I'll give it to you. I'll be drinking between I'll be designated driver for the next two weeks. Yeah, so we got stuff planned. They have to unfortunately, their flight leaves super early on Sunday. So they'll be out before church like their flight 30 Oh, the church might be out the door by 738 because they take the rental car back Adam Curry: and why are they even coming if it's going to be so short? Well, we gotta get back to their life. If you can't if you can't go to church. I mean, why come to Fred this is this is church.

And he said quite the contrary. He Adam Curry: did. But he said, Oh no, everyone's sick and tired.

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail. But I had something happened last week. Adam Curry: Just say I'm sorry for whatever I did. It wasn't okay. Tina Curry: And it was something that affected me and hurt me. It hurt me very much. And that day, I came across this scripture because you know, I do my devotional, my Bible study, and I read the Bible. I'm almost done with Romans. And this, this scripture came up Romans 1218, if possible, as far as that depends on you live at peace with everyone. And so, when this incident happened, I was very upset, very, very upset about it. And I called Annette, I, you know, me, I don't talk on the phone. I don't really like talking on the phone. That's just not me. I'm gonna text her. And I called her and I said, can I talk to you. And so as I was relaying the story to her, I was very upset, and I was crying, I'm very, very upset and that she's just so and it's just so calming, and so loving. And she's incredibly supportive. And that's why she's my best friend.

1:07:57 And at that, I really needed to get it up and out about the frick about, you know, trying to forgive this person. And then I went to lunch with Naomi, who's pastor Brian's wife, Naomi's very, very prophetic. And she's, she's lovely, too. And so we were talking, we're talking about forgiveness. And she told me, and this really hit me too, when she said that she was talking about something that had happened, and that she could tell that she was a changed person. She used to get really upset and angry and was hard for her to forgive. And she said that something had happened recently in their life. And she went to her husband, and she was crying because she was so happy, because she didn't feel that heaviness, that bitterness in her heart, and felt like God had really healed her. And she said to me, she said, you know, this is what I realized that if God can forgive, I can forgive too. And I that just that really freed me of any heavy bitterness completely Adam Curry: also in Scripture. Like, if you can't forgive how, you know, or because God forgive you, you can forgive anyone. I'm sure it sounds like that. Yeah, Tina Curry: I'm not, you know. And then the more that I thought about it, and this was another thing that I pulled out of Romans, like, who am I to judge God's servant? You know, who am I? So, what that's done for me is, is once I've given it to God, I don't hold on to it anymore. And I really felt this,

1:09:28 you know, I really felt it being released from me. And like I said, it just freed me of that heavy bitterness. So forgiveness is not necessarily for the other person. It's really for you and if God has forgiven us, as sinners, we can certainly do the same. Yes, it is. Yeah. Yeah. So that was a big that was a big lesson for me because I think about how I was so emotional with a net. And then when I relayed the story to Naomi, all the emotion went out But I was not in almost I telling the story to her, I was almost at peace with it very different. Adam Curry: Did you tell this person that you forgave them?

I said, you know, I Adam Curry: don't think that's because Tina Curry: it was at the height of everything that happened. But you know, but Unknown: yeah, anyway. Well, you know, forgiveness is huge. It's a gift that we give. Very Adam Curry: few people use, because people say sometimes very horrible things to me on online, particularly about my faith is just recent hours, like, it's people that I've known or whatever. It's just like, it's the thing. And I immediately forgive them not even in writing, just I forgive them. And it always comes, within a day it comes round until I say, Hey, I'm sorry, that was kind of crappy. Yeah.

Like they just you know, they want to be there in their flesh and behavior. Want to hold on to Adam Curry: it? That's the system. That's the system that exists. This is exactly what the enemy does. This is what social media is. This is the world around us. Everything is be angry, stay angry. Oh, yeah. Tina Curry: No. So my, my thought to everybody in your nation is just forgive God's forgiven you forgive and let it go. Once you give to God, don't talk about anything. When Adam Curry: I forgive someone. I always say, God, please bless them. Yeah, bless that first. Yeah. Tina Curry: So anyway, that's my god shot. Adam Curry: I love your God. Thank you. Yeah. And you know what? I can just tell how he's how he's working in you how happy you are. Yeah.

Adam Curry: Well, in on that vein, the most disappointing for what the biggest letdown for me was the Statue of Liberty. Oh, I remember as as a boy with my family. We walked up in heat because you know, you're walking up the stairs and the statue you see walk or you walk up to the crown, not with the crown. On the tour, that's the crown arch. And by the time you get up there, it's like five little windows and you're there for three seconds. You look out and like I walked up like 1000 steps for this in this in this heated metal thing. You child. That was yeah, it was my parents. I just remember like, Well, that was that wasn't let down. Yeah, that was my that was my, I'm sure there's more. But that's the first one that comes to mind.
