Didn't I can guess we sat on the couch and watched VP, which is now we're completely synchronous, so we're Tina Curry: settling in because things are going to start getting busy. Yeah, yeah, we're starting to get busy, because next week, my daughter Ellen comes in on Thursday, and then Friday, I'm planning a dinner for you for your birthday with my daughters, planning that, and then we leave for Mexico on Monday, yes.

They have that false sense of power, right? Like, they're like, the TSA agents, and they're like, Adam Curry: two other clients this women's salon, basically. And we're all like, should we, like, jump this lady and kick her out? Like, it's, like, Tina Curry: it was she rude too.

And I was like, this is the problem is over Tina Curry: regulation hair salon. It's so many regulations. I Adam Curry: mean, what happened? Just hanging a candy stripe thing outside cut hair because Tina Curry: they need money. Adam Curry: I could tell that the ladies were tense. I could tell Johanna she's tense about it. She's Tina Curry: like, Yeah, Johanna, Adam Curry: because I'm like, What is this? Are we in Nazi Germany? All of a sudden it was it was not cool. It was not regulation. That's what that is. Yeah, it did not feel good. Oh, and because you imagine like I'm shutting it down, and meanwhile, I got stuff in my hair, you know, I got Unknown: highlights. We can't shut this down, ladies, no way I'm telling you. Anyways, Tina Curry: look good.

You have done that to me, like when I came, when I worked for Ronald McDonald House Charities, and they did my makeup for the for the staff photos, and it was terrible. And I got home, you're like Adam Curry: that right away. Pictures like that, yeah. And when Tina Curry: I tried on my one dress for Christmas, and you go, you look like you're ready to go sing in a choir, I'm like, Okay, did I say that? Yes, you Unknown: did. Was I right? Yeah, Tina Curry: I value your opinion, I do, Adam Curry: but you can't hold up a dress and say, What do you think?

But Adam Curry: it's been a fantastic visit, I have to say, yeah, it's been enjoyable. I mean, if we can handle this, we can handle all kinds of things. But we Tina Curry: told her, if she goes out there and she's rave dancing and it happens, she's going Adam Curry: to Chicago, there were dad in Chicago. Yep, that's right, that's where you go next. Yeah, Tina Curry: this five star resort is all booked up, and Adam Curry: we are kind of a five star resort. I gotta say, yeah, yeah. I have to say, Tina Curry: I know we are the pool. She has cocktails, beverages, shoes, Adam Curry: so she's able, and, you know, she helps a little.

We had a surprise from Yes, Tina Curry: and that's why it was such a good day yesterday. It was an epic day. And I was really, I was really nervous about it, as you know. Adam Curry: But yes, so nervous that you already gave away. The surprise was coming. You are the worst. You cannot. I Tina Curry: can keep a surprise. Yeah, Adam Curry: by saying there's a surprise coming, but I won't say what it is like. You shouldn't have said any of that. Tina Curry: I'm going to I'm going to explain. Okay, here's what happened. So a couple weeks ago, Elise's best friend in New York, her roommate, who she lived with up until that she came to Texas one day in college together. They met in college, freshman year in college, but she's lived with Mackenzie for three years. Yeah, Adam Curry: and we love Mackenzie, Tina Curry: yes. And Mackenzie had texted me and Adam and said, I want to surprise Elise. I want to come out. What times, what days are good for you? And I said, Oh my gosh, she's gonna be so excited, because at least, I mean, up until, gosh, two weeks after her surgery, she really, I mean, she just hung with us. She had to be with us, so she missed, although, Unknown: very cool, yeah, yeah, we're really cool. We're awesome.

We do Tina Curry: and so so I knew that she I knew that it was really heartbreaking for her when she left New York, because her whole community, well, especially Mackenzie, because there had been roommates. And while Elise was here, they were moving into different apartments. Mackenzie, Unknown: New Jersey, divorce, right, Tina Curry: amicable. They still love each other anyway. So it was very hard. For Elise. She was sobbing when she left New York, and so was Mackenzie. And so when Mackenzie texted us, we were like, Oh my gosh, this is going to be so we're going to be Oh, she's going to be so surprised. And we didn't, we didn't say anything. But a few weeks ago, my sister Tony goes, I'm going to send a Lisa care package, don't say anything. And I had mentioned to Elise, like, Oh, somebody's gonna send you a care package. Like, a long time ago.

17:26 Unknown: Did that package ever come? No, it never did Tina Curry: get that package anyway. So I was worried that Elise, she goes up into her room, which is upstairs, and she falls asleep like she takes naps. And I was worried that she was gonna fall asleep and getting her up is like, not the it's not like she's hard to get up, but when you're in a deep sleep like you don't want to be roused like that. So I said to her, dear surprise, thinking she's thinking about my the package that she's going to get is going to arrive sometime between 530 and Adam Curry: five. Turns out she was way ahead of us on all of this. She was thinking about all kinds of stuff, except for some care package.

18:14 Tina Curry: She thought it was going to be an edible arrangement. Why is Why is now making such a big deal? It's probably just an edible arrangement. Adam Curry: And I was gonna, originally, initially I was gonna pick her, pick up Mackenzie up at the airport. Like, Oh, I gotta, I have to see Mitch. Actually got him to move it up half an hour. So I raced home so I could, because I was like, what do we do with the dog? She just throw the dog in the studio or whatever. Tina Curry: Yeah. So anyway, so Mackenzie, Mackenzie, they usually share their location with each other. Adam Curry: With these children with a sharing location, like, Tina Curry: I'm going to turn it off. So Mackenzie bought the Wi Fi on the plane and was just texting like normal, and then Elise asked her what she was doing. She said, Oh, I'm hanging by the pool and at least go send me a picture. She Adam Curry: was suspicious. So anyway, Tina Curry: so I had Mackenzie like, tell me when you get to Fred, tell me when you're turning off, you know, so I could time it. And so she says, Okay, we're turning we're turning in. And I take a cookie, throw it in the bathroom, and throw the dog in the bathroom. He's like, whoa, yes. I called the lease down. And then I Yeah, but Adam Curry: already she was like, she knew two days ago that something was going it doesn't matter it's it's cute. Do you think Tina Curry: I kind of ruined the surprise a little? No, no.

19:29 That's why it was such I love surprising people, and I just thought it was so epic. Adam Curry: I opened doors like I effing knew Tina Curry: it. I knew it. I brought tears to my eyes, just because I know how much Elise loves Mackenzie, Adam Curry: and then we let Phoebe out, and Phoebe right away, runs the Mackenzie sniff, sniff, all good. Lays down best friends. Yeah, she's gotten good, man, not Mackenzie Phoebe. Tina Curry: She has Phoebe loves Elise now. So when she sees the least, she WAGs her tail. So, because Elise is Elise all day, and Elise goes, I'm really gonna miss Phoebe, you're like, Okay, Adam Curry: how about personal chauffeur, banker, driver, cook.

20:13 Okay, well, all right, how was that? Beverage? Beverage, beverage, yeah, everything's good. No, Tina Curry: I was Phoebe's been really that Adam Curry: we spoil these children so much because we love them. Yeah, I guess so we love Tina Curry: them. And you know what? It was really a blessing to have her here, really was because she's a grown woman now, and, you know? And I like that she kind of sees us as who we are now, especially since we've been saved, you know. And I, and I love that she experienced our dog. And she loves, she loves pastor, Jamie and Annette. Yes, she does no and yeah, she's, she's delightful. Yeah, delightful. Adam Curry: You did a good one there. You made a good one it Yes. You made two good ones. Yeah, we have Tina Curry: three. Yeah, but yes, exactly. And the other. My oldest is coming out next Thursday, so she's coming for just two days she's coming until Sunday. Thursday to Sunday, she's coming to spend time with Elise. Yeah, oh, I had offered to get her out here. She took me up on my offer. And so Adam Curry: finally, yeah, that's the one who never needs anything, exactly. So we got, we Tina Curry: got a few things. We got a few things planned with Elise. So up until she leaves, we're gonna go. We're getting our nails done on on Sunday, and then we're going to do the dinner thing. We're going to some opening on Tuesday. We are, yeah, the mesquite at the warehouse.

And this whole visit, this whole visit, then love and joy, yeah, Adam Curry: it makes me happy, yes. Makes me very I'm Tina Curry: not gonna, I'm not gonna sugarcoat it. There have been times when it's been a little trying for me, but I got through it with God's help and the Holy Spirit giving me the right things to say and think and do. And so, yeah, it was, it was, it was good. It was really good. Yeah, yeah. And the one of the best things about it is, we've used our pool all summer.

Adam Curry: And there we are. Of course, it will be, it'll be a working vacation, but still, it's a vacation. Yes, Tina Curry: and I was telling we have Anthea who's helping us, like, set, settle, all, set up, all the arrangements. And I said, this is a vacation where we just chill out. It's not a doing vacation. We're not going to leave the resort. We get up, we go to the pool, we order a bottle of rose. You get your Irish coffee. We sit there and just chill out. I Adam Curry: got to get some books, chill out, and then show prep. And then Tina Curry: you gotta, yeah, but we get there on Monday, so you don't really have to. I mean, you'll be show prepping a little bit here and there, but not when we're Adam Curry: gonna do curry and the keeper, though, on Wednesday, what you don't want to do curry in the keeper? Do you want to take off? I Tina Curry: don't know. No, I think we should do it. I'd be fine. It'll be fun, because we're doing a tequila tasting.

But I still, I feel great. I'm still perpetually tired, but I still feel great. Tina Curry: You know? I don't feel any different than when I was 40. Honestly, I work out. I still work out three to four times a week, you know? I I mean, in my health is finally, like, back on track. Amen is right? And, um, no. You Adam Curry: can ask and, you know, and whenever we're together, we're always talking about stuff, yeah, but I think it's, you know, having someone who is there for you and stands by you when, when you're on your journey, is paramount. I slowly, and I think I've gotten better, and I'm talking about my financial trauma, and financial trauma comes from my childhood, and I have prayed about it, and I have, and it always comes back to this. And I think that it's just worth repeating about what I do to help me with that trauma, just like when I talked about my body dysmorphia, and I looked in the mirror, and they're like, Look Jesus. Was like, keep your eyes on me. Keep your eyes on me. And so, you know, like I said, when I think I have a beaten it just kind of, it comes up again, and then I have to, I have to work at it.

45:51 It's not just one and done. And so I was thinking about it. And actually it was today's verse in the YouVersion. It was Matthew 633 I could feel it last night coming up again because of various things that are are calling for my attention to pay for things and so and I start worrying about not having enough, even though it, even though I know God blesses us, and God will always take care of us exactly what we need. But it's like, it just, you know, it comes up and I and it's, it's just a part of the sanctification, you know, my sanctification. But it was Matthew 633, But seek first His kingdom and His righteous, righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And so I'm like, oh, you know, I'm thinking it's, I have to, I have to actively choose God first in my life, always, first, always. And that was just a reminder of me, like, okay, just like when I was doing with the body dysmorphia, and I turned my eyes and focused on on Jesus, and it dissipated that. It's the same thing with the financial trauma, I have to just just make sure that I actively choose to give God first place in my life and so and then living according to his Word has to take precedence, because God's Kingdom lasts forever. So I need to stop worrying about what I need and seek Him first, because he meets all my needs.

47:20 And I just have to remember that. And he presented that to me today, that because the trauma, just it bubbles up. It just bubbles up. And, you know, like I said, when I think I've got it covered, it's like, it bubbles up. So, Adam Curry: so this was meaningful to me as well, because I also sometimes wake up and I'm like, I gotta do this, I gotta do that. And where's this going, and that project, and and this, and we'll have enough time to do that. And am I, and I have all of these things in my head and I, and this is, I had a very similar thing this morning with this verse. I'm like, Ah, no, no, no, no. This is all by God's will. Unknown: Relax. Go to the word, just God, Adam Curry: it's your perfect timing, and every and that settles me. I know that's really what it is, and I forget what verse is, but, or maybe it was a devotion or something, but when you anxiousness, it's really intended to remove the anxiousness, Tina Curry: and I've witnessed that in my life. I've experienced it, and it's just interesting how these this, I mean, this trauma stems from 50 years ago, you know, maybe 55 years ago. It is entrenched in me, and so I have to keep chipping away chip and God just gives me exactly what I need. To keep chipping away at it, and I'll eventually get there. I used Adam Curry: to be manic about projects, particularly the stuff we're doing now. I mean, I do this now, I'm just like, No,
